God, I am ocmpletely in love with this song. I found 'Monster' first and I'm going to buy this CD next week! Meg & Dia are amazing singers and songwriters.
listening to the lyrics actually made me cry! i love sad stuff, they actually help me let things out! it helps me relieve some stress from everyday life.
When i was about 8, my family went to a hotel. my dad stayed in the room and me, my sis and my mom went to the pool. i didn't know how to swim. my mom and my sis whern't watching me. i was walking around in the shallow end but i didn't see the slop to the deep end. and i slipped into the deep end. i tried to scream- but i couldn't breath. i thought i was going to die. but then arms lifted me out of the water. my sister saved my life that day. i love her for that. this makes me cry- True Story

This song is actually based on an event that happened to Dia when she was younger. Dia was about 12 and it was actually her cousin but its the same story in the beginning where they're playing hide n' seek.
@pepperfilms27 almost the exact same thing happened to me except my dad was high and i didnt know how to swim and he threw me into the deepend at an inside public pool and my sister saw me at the bottom and grabbed my hand and pushed off and drug me 13 feet to the surface.
