    You should make a demonstration of clamping a piece in it. Its like, i am completely missing the grand finale….

      In my next video I’m using the stomper and gluing up my segmented bowl. I’ll have that finished in about a week. Thanks for the comment. Tom

    What's not clear is the bottom piece is a reverse spiral. That should be shown and explained!

      Thank you, I also made the mistake of not putting the inner circle. you're correct in that I should have shown the flipping of one of the rings to make the reverse spiral, I keep trying to improve my videos and will try to include more information so people understand the processes involved in any of the operations.

    Why do you need more than four points? All you're using it for is centering the ring, so four points should be plenty.

      I found it was a good number and you get a better centering of the piece. There are many different ways to accomplish the same process, this is what I found works for me. You could do four, six or an eight sided, look at how others have made theirs and make your own decision. Good luck with your projects, make it fun... Tom
