First video that came up and fix the problem for my 2012 Nissan versa glad I saw this video cuz winter is on the corner now won't be cool while driving my car that been driving for two years with no heat
Thank you!!! I fixed my car. The rod was not broken, it just moved / came out of the place, thanks God it's not broken. Thanks for the video, it helped me understand the mechanism .thanks for the video .!!!!While I was busy with the repair, cats broke into my house and stole a chicken breast that my wife had prepared for me and the children, she was angry with me for not closing the door all the way. She told me that while I was trying to save money and boasted that I was able to fix it, I lost money on a chicken breast. Then she went out into the yard and saw the cats watching her, she told me that they were waiting for dessert!!! She sent me to buy a roast chicken breast She'll probably make me look stupid in front of her friends and her family, what a shame. (I own a Toyota from 2015 and I have no problems with it)
I had the same problem. I put the wire back on and additionally secured it with a washer. Without the washer, the problem recurred. If all is well here at your place. Then the problem may be higher up, where the cable armor mount is - misalignment causes problems.
@@TheRazor1991 sometimes you have to tilt the pieces if they get jammed, take your time and they should come out piece by piece Just watch out for hidden screws and bolts, I’ve wasted so much time just to realize that there was one more screw
@@bekire2215 i didnt have a problem with the heat and cold i had i problem with where it comes out from .i went to the nissan factory and bought a plastic peace that is behind the glove conpartment..you have to remove it and on top of the glove conpartment there is a cover you can also remove to get to the plastic peacce that holds the wire to direct the air..the heat and cold in my car is tricky .i have to be very gentle with it from heat to cold or else that will ruin the switch as well.
@@aggos1 good to hear that it’s fixed, if the problem comes back you might check if there is any corrosion on the blower motor/wires, sometimes they get moist from a leak and get stuck
Hi, do you know the name of the white nozzle that controls the temperature? Mines is permanently stuck on heat and even if I reattach the wire it doesn't change position. I need to replace it but don't know the part name 😕 Please help 🙏
Same problem, went to a Nissan dealer and they told me that it isn’t sold separately. Asked them for a name/product number but they didn’t even have a name for it. Its all part of the complete core they said. I suggest trying to find a donor car
@@toddyrocket296 way to hard for just a cable, dealer told me that they don’t sell the cable and attachments separately so that sucks. Will definitely upload a video once I found a solution and spare parts, it’s the correct reassembly that always seems to be the tricky part 🤣
Anyway I didn’t fix the issue yet, still looking for some cheap second hand parts and spare time as it’s not really urgent. Should get it fixed before winter though

🤣🤣🤣🤣 funny story!
100% thankful, exactly what I needed to help quickly fix my car
My garage quoted me £600 to fix this issue. Having seen this video I'll have a crack at it myself first, thank you!
Sounds about right for a garage, it is time consuming
Thanks for the video. Managed to fix mine easily.
Thanks a lot. You just helped me to fix that problem.
You saved my life!!!

HELLO
HAVE YOU MADE A TUTORIAL FOR DISASSEMBLING THE CENTRAL CONSOLE TO GET ACCESS TO THE HEATER TAP. THANK YOU
it's pretty simple, just remove all the visible bolts and it will slowely come apart
I have the same problem but the white knob on the gear seems hard to move.

It would be super helpful to know the amount of screws and bolts.
Thanks alot ..u save me from opening everthing. . Jus have to squeeze my finger to get there
Did you wrap the wire back onto the white piece?
Do you think "White Lithium Grease" is good on this plastics?
I would suggest silicon spray for plastics
Thnx. For lubricating also?@@2guyswithcars290

My heater comes on and off with no regularity! Any idea why that is ? Heats good when it comes on.
maybe the thermostat, check your coolant temps
@@2guyswithcars290 it's the blower motor. It worked fine after I have the motor a few knocks. So let's hope it will last the winter. Thx for replying!

Can u show the other position part? For air blowing positions
I would love to make a video for it but it wasn’t my car. If I ever have to work on it again I will keep it in mind!
