See a lot of illegal hands to the face by that big boy.. he’s nasty but let’s give him a pass rusher that’s got size and speed and is wearing full pads and lets see if his feet get stuck in mud and his bad hand position gets him beat instantly. It’s cool to bully this tiny inferior DE, but I’d be willing to bet he can’t do that to a top DE.
Big guy was holding every play, thats not blocking. They should tape their hands or make them wear gloves with no fingers to see if they can really block. This is bullshit.
This drill just teaches o-line to hold. if you are going to do this drill they should be showing the linemen how to punch and reset their hand and hand fighting. But just having them hold will have them do the same in the game and get called for it. This is why in college football and NFL Oline play is so poor. Bad coaching at the high school and youth level.
