What If The Joker Was In The Dark Knight Rises?

- For many, Heath Ledger's Joker still defines the iconic Batman villain 11 years after his Oscar winning performance set the world on fire. 2012's The Dark Knight Rises finished off director Christopher Nolan's trilogy, but with Ledger unexpectedly passing away in 2008, his presence was sorely missed. Well, what if Ledger was able to reprise his role? What if this third film was so big it had to be split into 2 parts? What if The Joker was in The Dark Knight Rises? Creativity, as you know, is like gravity...all it takes is a little push! FanScription brings you part 1 of our most epic story yet!

The Dark Knight Rises is a 2012 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan, and the story with David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is the final installment in Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, and the sequel to The Dark Knight (2008). Christian Bale stars as Bruce Wayne / Batman, alongside Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Morgan Freeman.

What if Superman had survived the battle with Doomsday in BvS and led the heroes in Justice League?
Channel Awesome what if Rhino wasn’t in TASM 2? Nostalgia Critic loves the TASM movies (I do too, well the first one I love and the second one is decent), so I would love to hear his take.
Plus he like Dane Dehaan’s Harry Osborn. That’s good and interesting to hear :)
What if captain marvel was a good movie .
Marie Antoinette why do people hate Captain Marvel I’m confused?! Is it because they added in one more hero right before Endgame?
@@RJIS no , I liked Carol Denver's scene in Endgame . But Captain marvel movie ( in many of our opinions ) wasn't funny or didn't keep us at the edge of our seats like every other marvel movie did , characters weren't interesting , story wasn't engaging and there was no scene were actors could show their acting skills . ( If they hired an oscar winning actress I'd expect a scene like that )
Holy shit if the Joker had revealed himself in Dark Knight Rises like that, people would have jumped from their seats, it might have become one of the most amazing scenes ever
Facts!!!!!🃏🃏🃏
Just like when Barbossa returned at the end of Dead Man's Chest. That moment blew my mind when I saw it and got me pumped for At World's End.
Diego Diaz yep
But the thing I love about Joker is his mistery.
yeah but it wouldnt have made much sense. itd make it too convoluted with all the villains and whatnot
If you read the novelization of Dark Knight Rises, Bane took special steps when he was freeing inmates to make sure completely the Joker would not be set free. Bane was afraid that if Joker interfered with his plans he wouldn't be able to stop him.
good to know. thank you!
wow.thanks
Strider Zero Of course,it was bcuz of people like the Joker they wanted to destroy Gotham
Shame they couldn't have mentioned that in the movie. Wouldn't have taken much screen time, just a passing line from Bane.

Its great
That would be so awesome.
Batman begins ,the dark knight falls ,the dark knight rises
Imagine the Prison break Scene And bane breaks Joker out of Arkham
Hunter Rosen
Bane would want to save him for something else though. What if all the prisoners are being let loose, each newly freed prisoner opens the next cell. Then when a prisoner tries to open the Jokers cell Bane stops them saying, “no...everyone but him.” And you just hear the joker laugh.
Alex Xavier That’s an extremely intriguing idea! Good creative skills man 🤙🏼 too bad the circumstances won’t allow anything like that :(
That would be too dangerous
he wouldnt
thats litterly what I thoght would hppen
In the actual Dark Knight Rises, I thought it would be amazing if the Joker killed Bane instead of Catwoman. Joker says to Batman, "You're just too much fun to die."
Or better yet “I can’t let my favorite toy get broken.”

In the Dark Knight, Joker says “You know what? I think we’re destined to do this forever.” To batman

Batman is order
Joker is chaos
Order is the solution to chaos, but chaos is the solution to order
Its not underrated who told you that ? Every line of the joker is recognised very well.

Imagine if heath ledger faked is death just so he could show up as a twist villain in the end of the dark knight rises
Imperialist Mapping what if he still faking and pops up next Batman film?
@@jakub8302 yeah mate keep telling yourself that
That's a pretty twisted fantasy to indulge in.
A man's dead..and he certainly didn't fake it for your comic book movie.
@Lori Hanks I'm not a hater. Just when a man's tragically died and his daughter is growing up without her father then I chose to respect that sad reality rather than kid myself by proposing an imaginary narrative where he faked his death just for the movie.
Heath's acting definitely was his life work that he put everything into though. So I can understand why some might think it's honourable to immortalise him with an idea that he could've went above and beyond other actors by faking his death solely for his love of the role & the fans. But I don't think that's honourable and I think that's an insensitive narrative to indulge in.
And there's a difference between grieving (even for a celebrity 11 years after their death) vs choosing to be in denial. OP's narrative isn't said due to grief, it's an idea that he chooses to entertain through his own choice on his own accord. & that's what I personally don't agree with.
That's why comic book fandoms sometimes disillusion me because the lines get blurred between fantasy & reality for fans and they begin thinking their comic book movie is the most important thing ever.
But yeah, I'm not a hater. It's just my personal PoV. I think OP's idea is self-centred and he can think those ideas to himself but I don't want to hear it.
so you mean him pulling a Loki?
Ending Part One with Joker as the judge and laughing after he says “Why so serious?” was a genius move. I can definitely see the theater going crazy when they see the Clown Prince of Crime return like that and cheer and clap at that.
What if Tim Burton directed Batman Forever and Batman & Robin?
If I heard it right, he wanted Robin Williams to play The Riddler.
OOH! How's that for a FanScription? If those rumors about the TDKR since 2009 were true, and Johnny Depp got to play The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman played The Penguin.
Gladiator_ Hulk2017 then Michael Keaton and Michelle Pfeiffer would have given great performances without bat nipples and a bat credit card, which comes with a side order of 1000000 ice puns
We still have Billy Dee Williams as Two-Face and maybe someone else as Robin. And Catwoman dies? Idk. Even the title of the movies could change.
just change the color to black and white.... the rest the same...
Louis Duarte you that Jim Carry is Dr Eggman in the sonic the hedgehog movie and since the character was inspired by Theodore Roosevelt and Robin Williams did Roosevelt in the night at the museum trilogy
During the press tour for his movie 'Transcendance' Director Wally Pfister (who did cinematography for The Dark Knight trilogy) stated that Nolan did have plans to show what happened to the Joker, but it was set to be only a cameo, so as to not ruin the ending from The Dark Knight.
According to Pfister, the plan was, when Bane and his cronies were taking over Gotham, they don't raid Blackgate, but raid Arkham Asylum. As they're letting prisoners loose, two thugs come to a heavily guarded door and kill the guards. As they're about to open the door, Bane approaches and stops them. There's a viewing panel on the door, and Bane slides it open and peers inside. We see Joker, in a straight jacket and gagged,,staring at the door, laughing.
Bane closes the panel and says "This one would be trouble. He stays here." Him and the grunts move on, leaving the Joker imprisoned.
That’s almost the way I imagine it going, I imagined it as bane was outside overseeing the released prisoners, when two guards approach him and ask why this one specific prisoners isn’t being realesed and bane just says
“There is one man I will never let loose in my city”
And just moved on
Sounds more realistic and Nolany.
I remember hoping they did this anyway as an homage to ledger. Could have easily filmed it in a way where just the joker's mouth was visible, rest of his face shadowed. Would have looked just like ledger and been a hell of a nice surprise
And in the ending the joker managed to escape and he saves batman by killing bane
Do you have source please?
I hope Joker isn't just a judge in these videos, he'd never limit himself to that
Tbh i don't think joker would have been a judge in the first place. A comical joker in an animation, sure, but not THIS type of Joker.
Maybe he would of been for a bit then he would turn on them
As the months go on...
No guards at Arkham...
Who's feeding Joker?
Obviously Harley, who would be his sole caretaker who brings him food because the doctors who knew the code to his cell all died and the cops won’t give her the code.
Was waiting for someone to ask this. One of the best things about Joker is the unknown factor. Think about it. I didn’t say what was in that cell with him. Who was around possibly feeding him. How long the guards were gone. Joker’s also an excellent manipulator. It wouldn’t be so hard for him to convince a freed inmate to bring him food. Not knowing for sure how he survived adds to his mystique.
@@LordMoonshadowGaGa So if we're introducing Harley to the films, why wouldn't Joker just have her bust down the door or get someone that can (before Selina arrived)?
If Harley was giving him food , couldn't she just let him free as soon as the bridges blew
I’d like to think Clayface, a man who impressed Joker with his Shapeshifting abilities, or Dr. Victor Freeze, perhaps Harley, Ivy, or a man who wants to be better than the Batman, Edward Nigma.
No plane scene?
This needs the plane scene. A world without baneposting is one not worth living in.
For you.
@@Anetron1 If I only I said "A world without baneposting is one that is extremely painful to live in."
I'm pretty sure the plane scene was implied, they just didn't mention it, like a lot of other scenes. This doesn't describe the whole movie completely, just key moments and changes.

Christopher Nolan: Let’s have one Batman film with very little of Batman in it.
Channel Awesome: Hold my beer! Watch us pitch TWO Batman films with little of Batman in it.
I tell myself: When those cops walked up to the Joker who was hanging upside down, they just shot him in the face. Maybe he tired to kick them with that shoe knife, or some other trick, or the cops just SAID he did, so they blasted him.
I am not in love with this idea. But by this point in the story, the cops would have been so pissed at Joker that it makes sense.
@@MeatCatCheesyBlaster I wasn't thinking of it like that. I was thinking it would be reasonable for one, or a group, of cops to kill him because of how much trouble he was. And to explain his absence. BUT... good point. That is why the Joker stays escaping and causing mayhem, the cops won't just kill people.
@Secure the Bag I wasn't thinking it was anything the Joker did exactly. The cops just killed him because he was so crazy and kept killing people. They were nervous he would escape, so they just finish him off and maybe say he tried something. I was just trying to justify his absence.

Heath Ledger will be missed...
DeathKnightofAnime originally there was going to be no follow up - Nolan agreed to come back only in exchange for the studio financing Inception
@@Damon242 what does that mean?
Jack Twist Christopher Nolan, who directed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, intended for it to end with The Dark Knight (hence why Dent/Two Face was resolved in the third act rather than a third film).
He wanted to move onto other projects, starting with Inception (which he had written himself) but was struggling to get the financing he needed for the production. Warner Bros. finally agreed to help produce Inception on the condition that Nolan returned to direct a third Batman film.
So there was never any original plans for a third instalment.
@@Damon242 Wow. Well, Nolan did the right thing by making a third Batman movie. Those movies were the best!
That was the plan, from what I remember. He was supposed to have the cameo that ended up going to Scarecrow (which honestly would have been such a small role for a character that big, I'm not sure it would be an improvement).
The cameo probably would have been bigger but they made it smaller since it wasnt the joker
There was never a plan for a 3rd. Nolan wanted to end it after Dark Knight but couldn’t get enough funding for Inception so Warner Bros said they would fund inception if he would make the Batman movies a trilogy
Justin Clowater Scarecrow fucking sucks
Actually Joker would have had a huge role in Dark Knight Rises and that is the reason why it took Nolan 4 years to make it
In his mind he had a completely different story to tell but the tragic death of Heath changed everything
cameo at best.. it just not his movie....just like the other one that joker show up a bit...
Honestly I thought that “the Dark Knight Rises” was a good movie. I thought it was a good story, not as good as the other ones but still good; a good example of Batman rising to the challenge and I thought that Banes plan was interesting. There were a few problems and inconsistencies but those aren’t enough to ruin the movie for me.
I love dark Knight rises I don't understand why it gets so much hate
I don't get the hate either. Bane really makes that film for me though.

The original trilogy plan when they made The Dark Knight was to have the Joker in Rises, but of course Ledger dying did a big number on those plans.
Heath Ledger to this day is still my favorite Joker
Yes sir, I remember when I saw Crane as the judge in the theatre, I knew they were telling us "yeah, if Heath were alive he'd be the judge" like one my favourite episodes of the 92 animated series "Trial"
The story of the entire trilogy:
Bruce Wayne loses his parents. He feels guilty about it, but then buries his guilt in his anger. He travels the world searching for a way to fight crime. He finds the League of Shadows and is trained by them and learns to use his fear to turn fear on those who pray upon the fearful. He returns to Gotham and creates Batman. He takes down Falcony and some drug dealers. But then he finds out that Ra's Al Ghul is coming back to poison Gotham with a fear gas that will make everyone hallucinate and kill each other. Batman stops him by crashing the train spreading the gas. Lucius Fox gets a new job. Rachel breaks up with Bruce and says they can be together when Gotham no longer needs Batman. Gordon hands Batman a joker card. Batman says he'll look into it. Later, the Joker robs a mob bank. Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are working together to fight crime in Gotham. Harvey gets a bunch of criminals locked up. Commissioner Lau goes to Hong Kong and moves the mob's money to a secure location. The Joker tells the mob they have to kill Batman. Later, he kills the mob boss and takes over his position. Batman goes and captures Lau and brings him back to Gotham. Suddenly, the Joker comes out and demands that Batman reveal his true identity, otherwise people will die every day. Batman tries to find the Joker but fails. Finally, he succumbs and is about to turn himself in, but then Harvey takes the fall. Bruce lets him. Rachel is angry. She gives Alfred a letter to Bruce. Harvey is escorted to an armored car to be taken somewhere safe. Rachel implores him to tell everyone the truth, but he doesn't. The Joker attacks the armored car, but then Batman takes him down. The Joker is locked up in the MCU. Gordon is promoted to commissioner. But then, Harvey goes missing. Gordon asks the Joker where he is, but the Joker doesn't cooperate. Batman asks him where he is and the Joker says that he must choose to save either Harvey or Rachel. He tells them both the addresses. Batman tries to save Rachel, but saves Harvey instead. Rachel dies. Alfred reads her letter saying that she wants to marry Harvey. Harvey gets half his face burnt off and he goes crazy. The Joker escapes the MCU and goes into hiding again. Coleman Reese is about to reveal Batman's identity, but then the Joker says that if Coleman doesn't die in 60 minutes then he'll blow up a hospital. While the hospitals are being evacuated, the Joker sneaks in and disguises himself as a nurse and shoots the officer who comes in for Harvey. He then sits down with Harvey and tells him that the only way for things to be fair is with chaos. Harvey believes him. The Joker lets him go. Harvey decides to go on a killing spree and flip a coin on people's lives. The Joker sets up a social experiment. He rigs two boats to blow and tells them that one must blow up the other to live or he'll blow both of them up. No one blows anyone up and Batman throws the Joker off the building only to save his life. The Joker tells him about Harvey. Batman finds Harvey threatening Gordon's son. He pushes him to his death. Then he decides that the only way to hide Harvey's actions is to take the fall for it himself. Then he goes into hiding for a while. But then he decides to come back to fight Bane. He does his thing saving people and stuff. But then Bane banishes him to a pit and then gets ready to blow up Gotham. But Bruce jumps out of the pit and comes back to fight Bane. He beats Bane to a pulp. Then he flies the bomb out over the ocean. It detonates and everyone thinks Batman is dead. But he's not dead. He survived and Bruce Wayne is now living in some foreign country with Selina Kyle. And he leaves his bat cave and all of his Batman equipment to Robin who will now take over the role of Batman. Somehow.
Yess basically 🙌🏾

At this point, I think the hate died down. I don't really see anyone bashing Rises anymore.
At the time, yes, it disappointed some people. But I think they eventually started to give it some thought and some credit where it was due.
Alexandre de Souza nah i disagree people to this day still dislike the film. IMO it’s better than Batman begins and I love Batman begins as well. It just sucks because heath was suppose to be in the film if he hadn’t passed away, and I’m sure the film would’ve been tons better possibly better than dark knight.
I like the idea of the return of Ledger's Joker having its own subtle buildup. Selena's descent into the bowels of Arkham could be 100% free of dialogue; just three silent minutes of atmospheric gloom and dread, almost like a scene lifted straight out of a horror movie, before she finally reaches her destination.
Dark Knight Rises is my favorite of the trilogy. Sorry, but Bane’s presence in that movie is just too badass and epic beyond words. Fight me.
Nick P agreed.
I don't feel like "Rises" is the best one. But it's not *nearly* as flawed as this video (and most "critics" and internet crybabies) would have us believe. It's a very strong end to the trilogy and Bane is an excellent antagonist.

Ryan Azak are these the same people who think Lebron is better than MJ? Haha what other joke can you say a phrase and you know exactly who it is and are put in the moment? When all your lines are quotable and none of your contemporaries are its not even a debate.
@@cptndedpool5956 I definitely count Mark Hamill and Troy Barker. Ledger do a fine job, but i think some aspects of the Joker are absent in his portrayal
I also think they should have had other villains serve side roles, like Enigma, Mad Hatter, and Penguin. They wouldn't have big parts, just a history with Batman that happened sometime after TDK where they were captured and sent away to Arkham or Blackgate. Mad Hatter and Penguin would serve as Bane's enforcers while Enigma helps the cops because he realizes someone like Bane isn't planning on coming out of the situation alive and is likely to detonate the bomb after a specific amount of time.

God of Evil but Ra’s claims that Scarecrow knows nothing about the league
Channel Awesome! Thank you for making this video. Earlier this week, I once again asked the question, "What role would the Joker play in Dark Knight Rises? I can't wait to watch part 2. My imagination always felt that Dalia and Bain knew the havoc Joker caused eight years ago, and would have been a foe more so than an asset. Whether Joker was kept at Arkham Asylum or Black Gate, the League of Shadows would have taken the Joker early on in the movie. .
fun fact: they were planning to put him in the movie as a surprise return but since his death happened they couldn’t do it
I would've loved to have seen be one of the main antagonists like in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which mildly inspired The Dark Knight Rises and have him escape Arkham Asylum upon hearing the news of Batman's return after 8 years of retirement since his life is boring without his perfect opponent hence the quote: "You complete me.", which is why he never escaped and wreaked more havoc during Batman's retirement. That's why Joker returned to crime in The Dark Knight Returns. And maybe like in The Dark Knight Returns, Joker would have a final stand-off in The Dark Knight Rises against Batman at a carnival after he threatens to blow up the carnival and after Bane's death, if Bane was in the movie that is. If Bane was still in it, then Joker and Bane would likely wage a turf war against each other similarly to Joker vs. Riddler in The War of Jokes and Riddles.
Quite the interesting concept here. I am curious on what you plan to do next for Part 2.
I honestly love the dark knight rises. I mean the whole trilogy is perfect to me but unpopular opinion: the dark knight rises could be my favorite. Bane is awesome to me as well.
Ok, this is pretty freaking good, and i was on the edge of my seat
i think i really like this!! the Blake changes really stood out to me. also, while i really like Crane as the judge, i think making it Joker would've been a phenomenal reveal and hook for Part 2.
I love TDKR! This version is also awesome! CAN'T WAIT FOR PART 2!!!!!
“TDKR is bloated” also “We can’t really take anything out”
Precisely my thought.... maybe he means bloated in pacing but not plot... nonetheless, i think those two thoughts really contradicted each other
Not to mention wanting it to be a two parter lmao
The plot is bloated, and in this series they don't want to change the base plot or structure too much, but its base plot relies on almost everything in the movie so they couldn't take much out without rewriting the whole movie
Oh there’s somethings they could’ve taken out: Catwoman and Miranda Tate could have been left out.
The half assed rich vs poor story could’ve been removed. And the film could’ve ended with the death of Batman
@@RJHEllis they arent contradictions, it's a complex tangled web but didnt need to be but due to the crafted interconnectedness you can remove a bit without a rewrite of epic proportions
Can you do a FanScription video on Dinobot 2 from Beast Wars: Transformers? What I mean is make his character more useful to the story and have Dinobot 1 comeback in a new way than what was intended from the scrapped episode "Dark Glass".
This was done really well. I really like the fact that even though you’re not as favourable about the 3rd movie you didn’t decide to strip it of its story, set pieces etc. I do love all 3 movies (I love TDKR especially) bit the way that you’ve folded the Joker in here is really cool
RIP Heath Ledger 😢 he and the actress for Harley would of been a great couple

Man I love this ❤️
I'm actually a fan of the Dark Knight rises just cause I love the themes so much and in my mind Bane is a much better villain and I liked the tie with the League of Shadows that was never a weakness to me the only part I didn't like is I felt Talia was under utilized by the time they finally reveal her she gets one chase scene and she's gone but despite that to me the film was always emotionally resonant that being said this rewrite sounds pretty good and I look forward to part 2
I agree the league of shadows had to come back you can’t just fight a group of assassins once and I felt bane being excommunicated from the league mirrors batman excommunicated bane being this devil among monster was a good idea also the last fight was the best thing in the whole series my only problem was Banes death and Talias death I felt that banes death need to come from something he couldn’t control like his mask being ripped off and kicked off the stairs consumed by the mob down below. We could also see him try to climb up the stairs and have him die about half way symboling that he still couldn’t climb to where Batman and Talia were
I had one problem with it... it don't match much to other two...... Batman not much in it....
What is to like in that movie? It's Batman meets the Purge and the Purge is already an insane waste of celluloid/bits.
@@Ugly_German_Truths Here's what's to like, in my opinion:
Batman Begins - origins. Batman develops his nature and self actualises.
Dark Knight - prime of Batman's career. But he meets an arch villain who preys upon his otherwise perceived strength as a "good guy". That's what makes Joker compelling and threatening.
Dark Knight Rises - end of Batman's career. He has to face the fact that he can't go on forever. He meets an arch villain who outmatches his own physical strength and training - the very thing that makes Batman so frightening to other criminals. Then his own arsenal of technological marvels gets used against him. That's what makes Bane compelling and threatening.
Every movie shows a different aspect in Batman's life. It seems to me that a lot of people came to see DKR, expecting another Dark Knight movie but with villains swapped out. My suggestion then is to just re-watch DK.
i liked the movie. and its more of a thriller than an action flick.almost cried in the theatre.wasnt the only one either.
Its so ironic you posted this particular video cuz I’ve been on a joker rampage for weeks now
Context
Jon Baker are you askin for context? I saw Jerome valeska and Jeremiah valeska as the joker in Gotham, thought they were hot af, rewatched all the Batman movies and cartoons and fell in love with all the jokers
@@alyssa-hk2pg Haha no, it was a dumb joke. Out of context, a "Joker rampage" could mean a lot of things
Jon Baker 👀 catch me using that term out in public
Imagine in an alternate universe Heath ledger’s in the third film breaking out of prison with a few henchmen, with one of them being mark hamill in clown makeup having a few lines in his joker voice, sharing the screen alongside Heath🔥😮💨👏🏼
This was so chilling you earned yourself a subscribe. It was that damn good.
I hated how they never explained how Bruce Wayne got taken out of the country to spend time in "The Pit", and then magically got back to Gotham with zero money, phone, etc...
Because hes batman??
It’s fun seeing your own theory but I remember Nolan discussing his treatment of each Batman film as its own. A cameo at best would be the Joker’s role. Bane would see him as serious trouble and leave him locked in the cell. A scene like this could still be very strong and spooky but enough to indicate that this ain’t a joker story, it’s Bane’s. We would have loved to see this happen. I’m surprised that there wasn’t even a mention of Joker in the third. Just a verbal reference would suffice but I guess they saw that character so much as an abomination, they didn’t even want to mention him.
Re watched this movie a few days ago , this video is good timing! :)
Wow!! Need to see the next part. Great work!.
How would Joker not starve? He’s alone in his cell with no guards to feed him for months
Harleen Quinzell
Harley would still exists, and so would random prisoners who find out Joker is in there
I’m not a fan of this 2 part what if, now understand why Nolan didn’t mention Joker in the third one. As for the The Dark Knight Rises in my opinion it’s fine the only part of rises I didn’t necessarily like was them not addressing how Bruce got back into the city other than that I think the film is great. I see it like this, Batman Begins great movie to start with in a series, The Dark Knight Perfect Sequel, The Dark Knight Rises a sequel that’s just as good as the last one and has a Perfect Ending to the Series.
I can't wait for part 2. :D
Idea, the rope is a fatal flaw in the escape because it’s too short, it’s barely noticeable, but it prevents anyone from making that jump where they always fail
This is amazing storytelling. I want to know more!
I almost shed a tear watching this cause this was so good 😅😭😭😭
*Joker being the judge rather than scarecrow would have been fucking amazing.*
REALLY appreciate the visual concept art
I actually think the dark knight rises was almost as good as the dark knight. I disagree that it's weaker than the other two. The whole trilogy is a masterpiece
it's great in different ways. but there's just something about Ledger (and Joker in general) that beats all other Batman villains.
I agree. Rises has its problems, notably Bruce Wayne being a cripple even before Bane breaks his back, making his "rise" out of the pit hard to accept. But "a bloated mess", as this guy calls the film? That's way off the mark. I think Rises gets so much negativity simply because it came _after_ The Dark Knight, one of the best movies ever made, and possibly the best film Nolan will ever make. The Dark Knight Rises is excellent but gets judged against it. Actually it compliments the Dark Knight, also circling around to resolve the setup story of Batman Begins.
I agree with you. I think it's just as good as the entire trilogy. This whole trilogy was very good.
It is a mess. I agree with the video.
@@douglas4934 and I think y'all are saying that because y'all were going to criticize it regardless. After the Dark Knight, Rises didn't stand a chance with you guys.
This was a very well thought out idea. We definitely got a lesser product without Joker in this movie. His absence always made the movie feel hollow for me
Somebody give this guy some money!!! We need this movie to exist 🥺
That was actually amazing. I love this idea
Joker wouldnt participate in that. He doesnt work in groups.
Do a Fanscription on If Boba Fett didn't die in Episode 6 and if he helped Darth Vader against the rebels
RunDa Mic or a fanscription if Boba Fett was a character in Star Wars. After all he is a deadweight
Thank God this is one of the best things I have seen in a while thank you fans Griffin thank you 10 out of 10
I always imagined that during the Arkham breakout, Bane killed Joker because he would have brought too much chaos to the plan. Something to the effect of Bane going into a cell with Joker in a straight jacket. Joker starts talking about how Bane is just going to be another nameless thug that the bat will defeat in the end, but once Batman beats Bane, then it’ll be his turn to have fun in Gotham. Bane is quiet the whole time slowly making his way behind the Joker. Once Joker is done with talking about how he’s going to “paint the town red” he asks Bane “Wanna know how I got these scars?” And right then in a quick motion, Bane snaps Jokers neck and says “Not really.” you see Joker’s body hit the floor as Bane walks out the room.
One question, how would Catwoman know the code to Joker's cell?
it doesn't matter
I just had a thought. I dont remember if it's been done in the animated show or not but what would happen if the Riddler and the Joker teamed up? I wish we could have gotten that!
14:36 goddamn that was fricking awesome and super intense I love it!
If Joker was in DKR, it would have been a better conclusion. Great job Channel Awesome!!
Christopher Nolan should at least make one more movie which Is a Robin spinoff
Flaming Jedi ..robin against Riddler would be cool
You mentioned Cat Woman released Joker in desperation. Fight fire with fire. I love it because it makes sense. However, he should not be holding court. That means he is aware of or works along side Bane. Perhaps having the Joker on an alternate location or on the other side of Gotham would make more sense too. maybe.. just a thought. Keep up great videos.
Thank you. Every time I I considered the tragedy of Joker's absence in Dark Knight Rises, I felt a Pang for Judge Joker.
Like that brilliant episode of 90's Batman where Arkham tries Batman before Judge Joker.
What if Tim Burton directed Spider-Man in 1989?
Ah dude I love this idea. The joker appearing at the end in epic fashion and being the judge is so cool. I wished it couldn't gone down this way for real. I agree about Heath Ledger's Joker. In my opinion he is the best all around who has ever played the character. Also I'd like to say something about the several mistakes in editing of Dark Knight Rises. There are at least four or five times there is an error in continuity. One is with Talia al Ghul at the trial. She was captured but then at the trial bane took her and in the very next scene she's already back with the captives to help out. And then it seems like half a day later the same ones who were judged when she was taken are put out on the ice when earlier the ones who were judged were put on the ice immediately after sentencing. I knew right then she was up to no good I'm so it wasn't a shock when it was revealed later
I think if Chris R. Notarile or Scott McClure had been tasked with keeping Mr J alive in Rises, as they've done in their respective web serieses, we could've really had something. Those two really know the headspace of Heath's version of the clown prince.
This is a great video, bro! I agree 100% about DKR
