We had a very good experience with the car rental. Customer service was amazing. The car did very well. We are missionaries so the car went through a lot of mountains. It drove beautifully. We were in Punta Arena feeding the homeless. We also went to Guapiles where we preached and share meals in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Most of our stay was in Goicochea working with other missionaries.
We’re not sure if God will bring us back to Costa Rica but if we return we will definitely use your company again. We love the essence of el Pueblo de Costa Rica. Although we saw sadness, we also saw pure hearts with plenty of gratitude and beautiful smiles.

First off, they made it incredibly easy to get the car, got picked up at airport, was at the rental place for maybe 8-10 minutes and done. Paid exactly what was in my rental agreement with no hidden fees. Car was in great shape. Seriously after freaking out trying to find a reasonable rate for a car without worrying about getting scammed I am so glad I found these guys!!

Thank you for this update clearing up the Credit Card CDW information.
Papel is a likable guy and certainly seems to be promoting an excellent service.
The price he quoted me seems very good.
We are coming to CR this winter and will need to rent a car two separate times during our stay.
I like the fact he allows all the 'extras' the other rentals want extra money for.
We have used a competitor the last two times we were in CR...they were excellent but their prices have really become expensive.
We are definitely going to rent from him this winter and see how things go.
I'd also like to add that when I asked for a quote, I received the quote very quickly.

I rented from a car from him for three and a half weeks. What a great experience! It is soooo worth it having an advocate in your corner just in case.

Rented in April 2022. Process was smooth and quick. Drop off was good too. No hassles or hidden fees etc. Would use again.

How much was it ?
Pay attention to what Jairo is saying (third party damages and CDW) from time stamp 4:24 to 4:54. The Costa Rican insurance industry has this completely locked up. If you or somebody else screws up You (and whatever coverage You have) have to settle up. You will then, perforce, figure out who owes what afterward pending the outcome of the investigation.

of prices per day / week / in which season / kind of car/size ! … if you contact you get an offer twice as high …. this style : you really need no surchages on arrival anymore ….so : I made a careful deal elsewhere - for by far less than half the price … even when I‘d get on location a surprise of another 100% … I‘d still be better off !

QUESTION: I have a question about the COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER-THEFT PROTECTION
@8.00 x4 Día(s): $32.00. Is this a Fee that you have to pay even if you use your Credit Card Car Rental Insurance or is this something you waive if you use your credit card insurance?
I just want to get some clarity on the fees.

I contacted them and asked about the terms and conditions. A simple "no hidden fees and only $500 deposit" is not enough for me, which is normal no? I'd like to see the terms and conditions. They don't want to provide this beforehand. I'm not really comfortable doing business like this sorry.

Hey I will be moving to Costa Rica in November, I was wondering how many vaccines you had to get before traveling there ?
There are no vaccine requirements to get into Costa Rica. If you choose to get the Covid vaccine however you wont have to pay for travelers insurance to enter the country. Otherwise if you are concerned about diseases that may be present here and not in your home country you can view recommended travel vaccines on Costa Ricas embassy website or speak with a healthcare professional.

Witnessed Avis Scamming 4 families for all kinds of fees including the up charging for their flights being delayed . 1-4-22. They made a 1500.00 in 15 minutes in up charges.

We don’t accept any comisiones or payment from him. Whoever recommends Jairo is because he’s an honest person who does a great job and deeply cares about what he does. I just did another video with him last week actually. Him and his family are great people and dear friends.
