    Excellent solve. I saw "sapphire" and "ruby" immediatley but neither "jewels" or "jewel stone(s)" crossed the board as the spangram should. So I played all the individual gemstones first and saved the mysterious spangram for last. It still didn't make much sense.

    The spangram confused me, but other than that, it was pretty easy

      Yeah screwed up my super hard mode streak cuz I saw JEWELER before SAPPHIRE.

    Not very familiar with Topaz or Garnet myself and never heard of jeweltones before.

    As a gemologist I have an issue.we don't use the term jeweltones. Gem color, maybe gemtones... But mostly just the word color. Gemologists use the 4 Cs of gem grading. Cut.Color, Clarity, & Carat weight.

      “Jewel tones” are a set of colors, like “earth tones”. I feel like we’re seeing them a lot right now as push back against the “sad beige mom” phenomenon.
