    Here at Sun Distributing, we believe that the supplier of the window film should know every aspect of the business. It makes it hard when a tinter or tint shop needs support but their supplier does not know the business from one end to the other. I started as a tinter helper in 1989 and worked my way up to the point of distribution. Along the way I have put together a successful retail tint shop and know every hurdle that a tinter and/or shop owner could face. I believe that there is an extreme value to having a company with our experience in the industry having your back.

    There are many helpful apps and tools available, but most software out there are not designed to tackle the specific workflow and challenges that present themselves to tinters. Tint Wiz™ is a CRM app designed specifically for window tint companies. Book appointments, create proposals, send invoices, schedule jobs, manage tasks, and more.

    Just ordered a bunch of tools from your website. Gonna be gettin some practice in doing free tint jobs for co workers. I’ve actually been using the static cling for my work truck for about 6 months now and I take it off every day when I clock out. So some of the motion is there already just gotta learn with real tint now

    Weve been using Coke tanks at my shop since 1986. We use to go right to Abtex bottling in Abilene Tx and buy brand new stainless tanks for $48.00 back in the day. Lol they’ll always be called Syrup Tanks round here . 😂

    That was amazing watching you do that. I have had a few of my car's tinted. Now I have a BMW 540i 2023. I would like to have the windshield tinted. I have a medical waiver due to skin cancer. My question is if I do that will it mess up my head display that reflects on my windshield? I'm afraid it will? Any advice you could offer would be appreciated. Clearly you're an expert at this.

      @obliviondan Рік тому +2

      It will actually make the head up display more visible since the film causes the glass to have a more reflective appearance. The display is projected from the dashboard so the only affect it will have is making that display easier to see on the glass.

    I noticed that tilting the glass aide roll sideways when applying it would help me outline the windshield more efficiently. I remember last year when I was attempting to tint my truck windows after watching your vids that I initially had a bit of a struggle applying it, and then I remembered how you held the glass aide when you put it on. Really, I just mimicked everything I watched you do when I was doing my truck. it took a few times to get my mind and hands to coordinate and do what I wanted, but repetition was key for me. Thanks for doing these videos, Matt! I'll always support you channel in support for having learned to tint by watching your channel. I'll be like a broken record lol

    One live stream you mentioned you prefer a specific ceramic cause it’s easier to shrink. But never mentioned it. I’ve been watching your videos for WEEKS… Can you tell us what film you “prefer” for front and back windows that shrink well?
    Love your videos man! I’ve been wanting to learn how to tint for years, you finally made it possible.

    You didn’t have to heat shrink it ?

  • @comingtofull-ageinchrist6736

    I bought the dash towel and soak rope from Sun Distributing, great products, but I didn't have enough space to push the soak rope in. I think maybe because I didn't have a good tool to push the towel between the windshield and dash with. I plan to get on your site next week and buy a few things, so I'll probably get the squeegee and that tool you use to tuck the towel.
    You would think it would be easy to find a good squeegee, but the one you sell looks very ergonomic and efficient, but I don't see anything close to that at WalMart, Auto Zone or places you would think you could find a good wide squeegee, but I did not like the one I bought from Auto Zone. I just didn't like it.

    I looked up a replacement windshield for my 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 regular cab WT (work truck), and it was 1200 dollars, last year! The dot matrix around the border. That's Oklahoma though, so I don't know if that is different in other states.
