Get To Know the Green Heron

A small heron who lurks by ponds, lakes and wetlands, catching small fish and mostly being very quiet. They do make a very surprising sound that had me confused for quite some time. It does not sound like a bird at all! They're easy to miss among the summer greenery so it always makes me happy when I spot one
