Scum 0.7 How to level up Engineering fast!

In this video guide, I show how I level up my engineering skill in Scum 0.7, as the Intelligence category has many competing skills, so initially when you create your character, you may want to put your points in Awareness, Camouflage, or Sniping if you are making a PVP build. So this is how you can quickly level up your engineering, relatively speaking, as opposed to just letting it level up as you build, which could take weeks to get to advanced.

Good work woody, just for anyone getting down about needing engineering to fix vehicles/planes/boats/motorcycles... in patch .7.1.4 they made it so you no longer need engineering in order to repair them

I'll be doing some more videos like this. I spec my characters based on which skills take the longest to level, and put points in those skills.

@@WoodySurvives hey you should make a video on char build, I see survival and engineering should be lv in game, but I had a hard time lv awareness in game, but like medical is not really that important even tho it is hard to lv. up.

@@Floki3030 I always put the initial points in the skills I want that are hardest to level. In Strength I put them in melee, In Dexterity I put them in thievery, and Intelligence i put them in awareness.

I tried this out on my character that has advanced engineering, and got 83 xp per plank with the single door frame, and 425 xp per plank with the big improvised raft, so looks like that is the better way to go.

@@WoodySurvives Yes big raft is better at that level, but if you have no engineering, single door frame gives the most XP. If you have basic engineering, the wood locker gives the most XP. I forgot what it was for medium and then at advanced I believe the big rat gives the most.

Getting xp from putting items in blueprints has been around forever. But going to the Sawmill is not without risks, it is an event area, so a bunch of players might spawn around you suddenly shooting :-)
