This cover is incredible! Love how heavy it is. The drums and guitar are insane! The screaming is so hardcore. I'm gonna have this on repeat for a while.
poppy is one of the most important artists of our time.
This song came on in discovery mode on amazon music. "Holy shit, someone covered a Kittie song" I said while driving. "And it's pretty damn good".
Was even more surprised when I saw it was Poppy.
NGL...this kinda bangs. Kittie deserves something like this. Long live Kittie!
HELL YES!! 🔥One of the best, just absolute *sickest* covers ever! Love this classic Kittie track and having Poppy cover it only the way she can… my gawd. Epic
Holy shit I kinda forgot about Poppy and this was a killer reminder that she went metal! Very nice! One of the wildest transitions ive ever seen an artist make!
she switches genres constantly and it's very refreshing
Poppy is my new favorite Metalcore artist 🤣
Metalcore? This seems like Nu-Metal to me, Slipknot, Fear Factory etc
Didn't know poppy was a fan of Kittie 😮 she's kicking butt on this wtf ??!!! She still shocks me to this day lol since she went heavier on her sound wow such a great omage to Kittie !!!
I really appreciate this cover of Kittie's Spit. Such a great rendition.
Thank you POPPY for paying homage to KITTIE, one of the original female death metal group's. I do love the heavier stuff you've done, please more more more😈🤘
Death Metal? 😆
They are Nu metal not to be that guy 😂
@@tylerklein1586 since when did 1996 become NU METAL???
@@Middlewick Growl's and super heavy riffs are DEATH METAL
@@jerrykeck1494 they were numetal my guy, growls and heavy riffs are not the only thing you need for death metal. If they were much heavier then they would be Death metal.
never in my wildest dreams did I think id get to be spit on by poppy after she rocks my ears off like this
happiness exists
Thanks for bring up Kittie ! ❤
This chick is still a Huge musical prodigy!!! At thee top. Too bad just a few Recognize what gr8 music is ~ ~
A great singer covering a great female band's song, this make me so happy
Omg I loved this album so much when I was in middle school, then I found out that the members of Kittie are only like 4-5 years older than me! This is such a solid cover!
Started listening and was like... I know these guitar riffs somehow and how Spit was being yelled. Then the first verse hit and shivers were sent through my body.
Great homage to Kittie.
Never heard of poppy before this, but it's pretty cool to see kittie getting some love and recognition. Such an underrated band and this is a pretty dope cover.
Dope AF song cover! Poppy killed it great tribute to Kittie.
