Idk what they were thinking with Alioth. He is probably the most un-fun card I've played against simply because of Galactus and cards that simply locks people out of locations.
In the game where you put allioth on doc oc. You had a win with profx mid. Daredevil showed 4 points right going into turn 6. Alioth wins vs a 4 point lane. They can't add a y power there.
I mean, kind of? It's a fine line but you lose priority going into turn six so Alioth loses to a Cosmo, an Armor, op's own Alioth.. They could also potentially have a Doctor Doom or a Leader or something. I'm just saying it's not a guaranteed win by any means.
The game where you Alioth'd Doc Ock: if you'd played Prof X and moved Jeff, wasn't there a 50/50 chance that doc ock would have pulled Alioth which would have eaten doc?
IMO they should just tweak it to "on reveal: at the end of this turn, destroy all enemy cards played here this turn." It would preserve the power removing effect, but actually allow for counterplay
Green Goblin right into atlantis would have been a bigger swing than the Galactus.... right? -3 and negates the +5 buff from Atlantis, plus would have scaled the sunspots more.
22:22 Wasn't the correct play to just play Sunspot Right? Yes, it's 1 less power than Galactus, but adds an extra 12 power Left. And the biggest reason for that was to play around Leader and Doom? Am I crazy?
Honestly this season is looking like hell on earth. First we had to deal with Loki decks that are still rampant and now we have one of, if not the most evil and toxic version of Galactus.
Hit infinite the other day so thought I'd try your monkey miracle deck out today... every game Galactus & Goliath. Shut down app for the rest of the day
In that last game, I'm pretty sure Alioth left would have won against anything but Destroyer or... A random Bucky? So technically it could have been an Alioth game. ^^
God I got so unlucky this morning on caches. Random S4/5 (Silk) and Snowguard whom I already own. Not sure why but I'm having a much harder time getting collection levels recently to get caches. Less credits entering the economy these days?
Half the time when I go to watch Regis' videos, it lags my UA-cam app out and I get maybe half framerate for every video I watch until I close and reopen my app. It only happens with Regis' videos, idk why
Other than making it a bit more consistent when you don't draw your Knull, I don't see Alioth with Galactus winning in any situations it didn't already. I'm way more concerned about it in lockdown.
Yeah, I was playing a storm professor x deck with alioth or doom wave as the final combo. It was doing pretty well, especially how much people wanna dump cards t6 with Loki rn.
i’ve been running a similar galactus lockdown deck for 2 seasons now with a ridiculous win rate and cube gain. i would personally take out wolverine for orca just because orca is a second win con especially if you have a lane locked down by turn 4 and you still have hob goblin and orca in hand.
Huge galactus fan here pre nerf, hear me out, win rate goes up if you swap wolverine for Chavez. He only gets destroyed in most games one time which is a 2-4 same as cloak and he's not feeding knull or death. Chavez so you know exactly what you got to work with by turn 5 and you can retreat for one cube or snap and go for it
do you have to play alioth so early on turn 6 because it seems like everytime i played this card on turn 6, it was always the last card to get revealed.....can someone explain?
I used a similar deck with great success. I have chavaz for deck thinning and big card turn 6. Lizard is a flex card but I like him for priority. Death is a flex card but very useful even if you don't galactus. Turn 3 wave, 4 death, 5 profx, and 6 alioth. Low priority decks suffer vs this deck.
@@DavidWalker829the old one was much better, it was way harder to counter. activating galactus without priority on the last turn was really powerful, since cards like knull just win against almost all cards. now with alioth the prio helps.
@@Sparkofshurima it wasn't that difficult to counter. It was so predictable and still kind of is. People don't expect it because barely anyone plays it now.
@@holyansandoval5724 i know its not meta, im still right though. ignoring alioth, the old galactus was stronger than the new one. now you can just play 1 big card and its gone, before you needed cosmo or other specific cards. the only time he was insane was when you could get him from agent before he was released as a card since noone expects a card that doesnt exist. fun times.
My deck for alioth is Lockdown deck 1 sunspot 1 nebula 2 dd 2 psy 2 silk (i dont have jeff so I swap him with her) 3 storm 3 jugg 4 capt marv 5 px 5 klaw 5 gamora 6 alioth
I feel like a bunch of people here haven't actually played against pre "nerf" Galactus. Just counter it the same way. You only need either cosmo, Aero, Polaris, Debrii, hobgoblin.
Surprised to see that you went nearly even with alioth. I just went 22-7 with a slightly different deck but still galactus and alioth with net cubes of 69 in like a few hours. Just got me to infinite.
You get new cards by playing and opening collection reserves and then you save the purple ones the spotlight cashes for specific cards that show up in there that you want but don't open one unless you have four saved up to guaranteed what you want. Unfortunately you can't get every card right away because you can't buy the cards that you want. You could spend like $10,000 or more. If you were a new player and you couldn't buy everything, you just have to be patient and eventually you will unlock everything
@@williammclean6594 i don't understand much but thanks anyway for trying to explain, fun game anyway, im already at lvl 9 after 2 hours, and only lost one game, seems like people don't know how to play on this level :P
green goblin in atlantis would've been better than Galactus. It would be 8 power (cause he would've lost the +5) instead of 7, and it gives +6 power in left cause sunspots
Alioth is so so broken If the enemy js only above by 4 power on that location alioth can easily win And the only thing I hate about alioth is my on reveal cards get destroyed before they even was revealed
The deck I was playing alioth is the lockdown deck Why? Lockdown have psy and dd As long as you have dd on board then psy on turn 4 alioth is easy hit on 5 Or lock a location with px then lock another location with storm And with only 1 location left alioth is easy hit For me this lockdown deck js better than the ramp sandman deck But alioth into zola is still so insane Alioth is just a worse pre aero if pre aero only moves card he fuckin destroy cards and if you have prio he is a better Cosmo lol
Might be the end of snap for me. This is trash. I already despise lock down trash. Loki week was a blast, everyone just ramping fast not interfering with what the other person was doing. This really drains the fun
First game was def a bot right? They had Dare Devil in play but the turn insta-played and they didn't play anything middle when they should have known Galactus was coming
So alioth does not feel great with galactus due the fact if galactus goes off alioth is just a win more card. For me alioth worked fine in a doomwave Deck with the silk kraven movement Package and aero is going to shine this Season with more Controlcapabillities.
That Forge + Green Goblin into Aunt May's got me dying lmao 😭
The opponent was being nice 🤣🤣
That +3 power green goblin gifting by opponent into surrender was hilarious 😂
Goblin went through rehab, he gives 3 power which is not much but its an honest work
Omg yes! 😂😂😂
The mental image of Galactus getting kicked out of Luke's Bar is amazing.

Yup, and if Ock pulled Wave he would have a solved win right by playing Alioth there next turn.

Can’t wait to see some non electro ramp decks with Alioth. Every creator I follow basically did the same thing 😂
22:01 if he moved jeff and played green goblin on the right it's a cheeky line
22:05 had me pulling out hairs y didn't u just play green goblin onto the nebula path
