For everyone asking how to fix the blurriness of the first one, try checking the color mode of your documents. Mine was set to CMYK and it messed everything up. Also try using the 3D Classics essential instead. You will find the dialog to insert the symbols under the map art option, and then you can choose which specific side/face of the 3D object you want your symbol to sit on. Hope this helps!

Everyone learns differently. Some people prefer to take notes and others don't. I'm someone who doesn't like to take notes. I rely on memory and just becoming familiar with something. If you want to take notes I suggest using an organised planner (physical), or something like Milanote (digital)
Maybe this is a silly question, but can vector images created in photoshop be 3D without further tweaking in blender, being made into a gltf, or being used as a texture on a mesh? I'm talking about the first example you shared btw. I'm wondering if the logo is rotatable in a 3D space because it looks like it but I can't tell. Nice tutorial!
not sure if this helps, but he's using illustrator, not photoshop. The object you make using the 3d tool in illustrator can only rotate in the same tool within the program, not outside of it. So no, you can't directly edit it in blender bc it wouldn't work. I think the image is 3d only in Illustrator, which means you can just save like a normal image. Keep in mind the 3d tool in Illustrator is quite limited but useful anyways.

After playing around with it some more, I realised that having the ray tracing setting off and using 300ppi for the raster effects settings was best. Also try different size designs

Yes you can, but you need to use a process called 'map artwork'. It's similar to this process and uses the 3D shapes.
Having a hard time even with rendering it on high quality with vector it looks awful, any ideas on how to make it look better?
