200$ for a new longboard? Yeesh. I'll keep that in mind when I get the funds.
It looks like it rides sick! Same with the dropped down board. Those seem great for long rides, less strain pumping.
I've got a cheapo 20$ Amazon longboard I've been riding lately, it's not amazing but for 20$ it's great.

lol, I was planning on getting a $1500 boosted board but decided to save the money and get this one 😂
I'm glad I did though! All the cheaper boards I have used before this did not feel safe going over 30mph. Now that I think about it, they probably wouldn't even get to 30 lol.
This one is fast and sturdy. I never get speed wobbles! I don't think I need anything better now.

I was riding one with the wing in the parking lot, it rolls a lot easer than the wind carver, I'm gonna get one.

They are great boards! That drop in the middle lets you carve back and forth so easily!

I have this board currently. I'm in germany on deployment and am begging my mom to ship it to me. I miss longboarding but more importantly that board itself. Pure perfection. Id say a motor on it would make it superior

Right?? I've been thinking the only way I can upgrade is to get an E-Board. But I have the huskies to pull me lol. Good luck in Germany! I know it's different being on deployment, but I've always wanted to visit!

Cool video..ive been looking at this board for years..i want one..is the deck firm and strong ..solid ? Or more bouncy and flexible ? Im curious..thanks.

Hi there. This board is firm and strong. Before this, I had a flexy bamboo board as well as a flexy longboard from Penny. Both were bouncy and not as stable to ride at higher speeds. This feels like a super fast tank with giant grippy wheels, but the drop deck and wide trucks still allow you to turn easily.
Been riding this board for about 4 years now. Recently I put in some fresh bearings. Now it's like new again! Highly recommend this board if you like the firm and strong decks as well.

How do you stop when mushing? More so to slow down rather than jump off? I've been looking an an esk8 just to have the electric brake option.

    • @NeedWantBuy
      @NeedWantBuy  10 місяців тому

I've only used an e-board once, but not when mushing. The brake was definitely nice! When I mush and have to slow, I balance on one foot and press my other foot against the ground flat footed. Start light then press firmly to slow. Keep foot flat so it doesn't shred the toe of the shoe. Then when our husky hears the loud noise and feels the resistance, she slows.
It'll do a number to your shoes overtime regardless of how you place the foot. But I keep a designated pair of longboarding shoes that I plan to shred overtime. I would do the same without the husky to slow, but not nearly as much lol.

@@NeedWantBuy I've had this board in my amazon wishlist for a while now. Glad to see that you like it! I also think my dog pulling will quickly eat through any shoes i try to foot brake with.

I actually have a longboarding playlist on my other channel with about 30 videos using this board. You can see them here: ua-cam.com/video/1ebsELg7-Wc/v-deo.html

Man if I didn't have the Huskies I'd get a boosted board for sure! So much fun going fast and not having to push.

No wonder they are so expensive. I’ll use the mountain board with my half husky pup, it’s cheaper for some reason

I was saving for a boosted board before this, the MBS with Husky Power is quite a bit cheaper lol.

@@NeedWantBuywith my pup, I find his feet get really warn running on the pavement. Have you found any boot or good foot protection for them?

We use Paw Balm to help protect their paws. I personally have tried this and really like it: amzn.to/3Rd2AlZ
We don't go if it's too hot and we try and find trails with grass on the side. Our older Husky prefers to run in the grass as it's easier on her feet. Good luck!
