Day 5 for me has been a pretty good day. I still have a little bit of a sore throat and a dry cough that’s it. My runny nose is gone now.

Thank you recording your covid experience. I would wear n95 and k95 and a surgical over and still got infected. I am not vaccinated I had it scheduled to get the phizer Saturday and tested postive Thursday my luck. So now I have to wait at lest 1 month before I can go get the vaccine

Happy to help. There wasn't much out there when I was trying to do research. How are you doing? Has the symptoms been similar or worse?

You should get pretty good immunity at the end of the booster plus natural infection. Let's cross our fingers that any new varient a that come out are weaker or it burns itself out.

I had two Astra Zeneca jabs, one in March then one in June. I then got the Phizer booster on the 24th of December and probably caught the virus travelling from Birmingham UK to Dubai and then on to Dammam in Saudi. I felt I had a cold but went to get a test yesterday which would have been my day three of mild symptoms and it came back positive. So far it’s not too bad.

@@wonderland1985 the second week is inflammation. I'm prone to getting bronchitis so that is the worse part for me..from your video you don't look too bad and I doubt it will get any worse honestly.

Albuterol should not thicken your mucus. Albuterol opens up the bronchial tubes and makes you cough up whatever phlegm is there. So you are probably coughing up and clearing the phlegm out. I got bronchitis after I had covid back in July and used albuterol every 6 hours for about two weeks and it definitely helped me. I still use it on occasion. One ting to note is I still have phlegm. Some days it's not so bad as others. I believe this is a long term effect of covid.

The Omicron variant is quickly surpassing Delta here in the US. While it's quite possible you had Delta it could be Omicron as well. You could have gotten a more thorough test done in a lab which would tell you what variant you had.

I wish I can check. However everyone who my friend infected tested positive within 2 days so I'm hopeful it's omicron. My friends symptoms were more similar to it than mine were too.

Can i ask what was days 6,7.sir? cough stays? Iam asking because i read that dangerous part is day 5-7.so my question is can a person like you at day 5 for example with no fever and improved symptoms still get worse after 2 days? Iam confused!

The cough due to the thick mucus was what stayed for weeks. I still cough here and there. Most of the mucus is gone now. The fevers, body sweats and congestion was basically gone around day 7. Some people it stays longer though

I'm pretty hopeful that this will be the last variant of covid. It's infecting so fast that we will reach herd immunity in a few weeks and won't have time to mutate and I suspect by mid January you will see cases start to decline.

Dude you really need to go read side effects of those inhalers. Most that open your lungs include the side effect of increased risk for phenomena witch is what covid is waiting for to turn deadly. I’m not giving you any medical advice but common sense tells me I would not be doing inhaler with covid. I am also on day 5 as of the time of writing this with covid. I’m better other than draining causing cough. Drink water it thins it and helps it to all but go away. Wishing you well in recovery and thanks for sharing.

@@leisurely6711 I’m drinking lots of water and fluids. I had severe body aches for about 4 1/2 -5 days with fever and chills. That’s all over and kinda like you said it’s like a post nasal drip now. A bit of a cough just to clear my throat now for the most part. I had to share about the inhaler though cause about 5 years ago I had walking pneumonia for a bit over a month and they gave me those things and I didn’t start to get better till I stumbled across my warning. And stopped using them. was following docs orders but doctors aren’t always on point like one would hope. Glad your better. Best wishes

@@SuperCoyotecaller I appreciate the info. Get better man. Guailfenesin and benzonatate helped my cough the most at the end. If anything ask your doc for those. So if the cough is bugging you due to all that mucus, that will help dry you up but don't take them together like I did. They made me go from a wet cough to a dry cough especially of I talked a bit too long.
