She totally was. The actions of people against her were blown out of proportions and she was blamed for something that happened four years ago, when she was 12. She was just a kid back then and people have to understand that it shouldn't be a reason for having the career and public image ruined.

It got worse when hybe and source music provided very weird responses to the allegations and made her seem like the bully. Hybe rly gave the bare minimum.

Si vous croyez que HYBE a abandonné GARAM juste parce qu'il a rompu son contrat vous vous trompez; HYBE a des intérêts en défendant GARAM. La justice poursuit son cour et aucun de nous ne sait de quoi il en retourne maintenant dans toute cette affaire, alors arrête de vociférer des paroles sans aucun fondement.

The creepiest thing about the Kim Garam thing is it could have happened to anyone in K-pop. No one is safe at all. Why didn't Hybe continue to support her when they knew the real story? She was just a kid, and, yeah, she swore at someone because they were bullying and extorting her friend with inappropriate pictures. She's so young--is cursing a crime now?
I blame the fans. They just swallow any piece of news, take it as fact, bully a person out of a group (I always worry when a new group comes out), and then defend that person as it they've always been on their sides. It's maddening. I hope Kim Garam gets a chance to have a career with a new group or a solo. She experienced her dream for two weeks. Two freaking weeks she was treated as a number one criminal only to be extolled as soon as she is thrown out like trash. I can't stand the K-pop community sometimes.
its the fact hybe got flamed for defending her bc the so called ‘evidence’ was clear and then after garam’s contract got terminated and garam uploaded her testimony ppl blamed hybe for not defending her better?? mob mentality in kpop stans needs to be studied, also when the svc report came out ppl made excuses that “y’all will believe anything as long as it’s korean” like that can be applied to the restraining order ‘evidence’ everybody believed that could have possible mistranslations and people forgetting the fact that you can only file a restraining order if your 18 or older?? the lack of common sense and critical thinking also needs to be studied in kpop stans😭. hypocrisy at its finest and now ppl make an excuse by saying she was an idol for 2 weeks when people try clear her name… whose fault do you think that is?

That Eusoo should be sued she's the reason why Garam' contract was terminated.
It's not fair, for Garam herself attended months of school councilling with her parents, she learned a lot there for level 5 punishment (bcs she cursed her friend's Bully).
That bully ("criminal" bcs she leaked private photo of Garam's friend) even had a gut to out Garam's past issue, knowing she ran (transferred) from school to avoid school punishment.
What a coward. Maybe, some Ent/compamy., Had an offer to her to ruin Garam's reputation.

It's really sad how quick people will bully ANYONE without proof. And then when proof does come out, they switch and defend her like "oh we want her back, She's innocent." It makes me sad. If there was an option to bring her back I would want it.

It is hypocritical that people hated on her for “bullying” and then they do the same thing.
I don't know how the judicial matter is going, or if this judicial action still exists, but if the committee itself confirmed Garam's version, acquitting it. the same must happen legally.
So she deserves a big apology for everything she's been through, she doesn't deserve to have her dream ruined by it.

I was neutral when the controversy first blew up but honestly even then i felt it was a real shame she had to face all that at such a young age, she really shouldn't have had to. But the fact that it blew up the way it did kind of honestly felt like there was no way she could've stayed as part of fimmies without hurting herself/hurting the others. Maybe after enjoying peace, growing up, exploring other avenues, she can come back to being an entertainer and maybe even shine some light on how the industry should handle cases like this. Im sure there are many people in the idol/k-entertainment industry that have the same childhood experiences as Garam did and how it doesn't necessarily have to shape someone's future in such a way (especially because now we know both sides of what happened).

I feel like Garam should try to debut because there is proof she did nothing wrong besides defending her friend. I feel like she should follow her dreams in being a k pop idol and I find it weird hype stood by her but then just cut her off…. But some people didn’t like garam due to these allegations. Garam was my bias and hopefully looking forward to her debut

Honestly she was there so little that i dont get how people can stan her but i do think its upsetting that the internet ruined a poor kids life over a fake bullying scandal before it was even proofed false.
many people stan her not only because of her visual.. but because we feel sorry for her, who's slandered and her dreams forcibly taken away..
then i can say the same thing, how can people hate her when they didn't even try to get to know her or know too little of her story beside oneside believing in the allegation? or that this is human nature to just quickly jump into conclusion?
So my reason is a bit personal.
But from my point of view, Garam did not act wrongly, but did everything right. She stood up for a friend who had experienced SA.
I had a similar experience and my god I would have loved to have someone who acted like that.
And I don't stand behind Euensoo, Hype and all those who were against Garam or treated her unfairly. Portraying her as the bad one and giving the image that such behavior is wrong.
I would do the same for my friends. She is primarily a person and then an idol.
So the one student posted a photo they should not have. Then 8 other students confronted her outside her school and cursed at her for 3 hours? Instead of reporting her actions to the school or their parents? No one behaved well in this situation. Everyone was a bully.
They were all part of the same group of friends and Eunsoo talked badly about them behind their backs and they were all angry with her. Garam was one of the friends. So friends having a dispute hashed it out over three hours after Eunsoo insulted them behind their backs. They left as friends.
That's not calling bullying, that's called "fighting", they are two different things.
Heated discussion between friends can go on for the whole night in dorms,3 hrs is nothing.
Also they did complain but first they confronted her a very normal thing, you will always want an answer why someone was so sneaky and vile to you, punishment will certainly come but later.
Don’t you know the difference between bullying and fighting these kind of things very very common in schools because all of them are kids I don’t know why people expect a 12 year old kids to act like adults and be mature enough to handle peaceful this kind of situation are you angels and never make any mistakes

I think the levels from her school is different ig? It was stated that lvl 5 was only like special eductaion for 5 hours regarding what she did which was swearing. Lvl 6-8 was like forced transfer or expulsion so lvl 5 was still a minor offense in their school
The company was really defending her at the beginning , I think they found her not innocent that why they kicked her out from the group !!
It was a common decision with her. She wouldn't be the first idol to leave her group in order to not damage further the group's reputation. It's really common and going on since decades. We even did blame in the past some companies because they made it really visible that they are privileging reputation over truth, really common in K-pop.
Oh yeah that's happen to other innocent idol that got kicked out bcs of false scandals. Company doesn't care whether they are actually innocent or not if it affects their investment in the future they'll kicked them out. They have the proof of Garam case but keep holding it on till everything in the group was in good condition and then kicked her out bcs of the fear of her scandals will get in the way of the groups future. Garam is the worst case of how a company taking care of a Bullying scandals they literally wait till every promotion in the group ended to just announce her termination at the end.
I heard rumours that the company was planning on kicking her out all along from May when they first put her on hiatus, They also withheld evidence that could have very much helped clear her name from the very beginning. Garam herself posted the full school report on her friends instagram and in that it did state that she cursed at the "victim" but it also cleared her name from all of these horrible things people were spreading about her. Garam herself even said that everyone of her friends, family, and even herself tried to give this evidence to HYBE/SOURCE (her record label at the time) but they never released anything to the public. She wasnt guilty at the time and she still isnt guilty now. People ruined yet another talented idols career for no reason and it honestly makes me so mad cause this could have all been shut down back in May when they debuted.
