  • Hello, earthlings! If you are new here, my name is Mari. Welcome to my channel! To my returning subscribers, many many thanks for coming back!
I have contemplated whether or not to publish my Skye Trail trip on UA-cam because as amazing as the great days have been, as a whole, the trip felt all over the place. I feel I have to re-do the whole trail, and I definitely will. Having said that, I finally managed to garner enough motivation to edit the footages I took and publish some content so here is my half-assed vlog 🙈…because I’m not gonna lie, I’m really struggling to find motivation these days. I want to bounce back and I figured the quickest way to do that is to just do something regardless of how half-assed it may seem. After all, when a person is lacking in motivation, a seemingly half-assed work was actually a lot of work. I apologise to you guys for being quiet the past few weeks, and a huge thanks for staying.
The Skye Trail stretches over 127 km across the Isle Of Skye. Walkhighlands described it as a challenging unofficial route aimed at experienced hillwalkers, takes in some of the very finest landscapes on this celebrated island - and indeed in the whole of the UK.
Day 1 took me to Rubha Hunish where I spent the night at the Lookout Bothy due to high winds and rain. A wild camp on the peninsula below the cliffs will have to wait for next time.
Day 2 led me to an endless hike thru sinky bog land and a naughty ninja trick to finally wild camp in the shadow of the Trotternish Ridge. Happy days!
Appreciate you guys joining me! Hope to see you again on the next one. 🙏🏼 Take care all! 💚

Great video. Around the 9 minute mark where the sheep get up - I love your reaction. My guess is that they are their b******s, if the 'sacks' had no teets on them, else they would be udders. My advice, if you are unsure, don't go attempting to milk one for your cuppa, just in case they are the former! ATB Hambo 🐏🐏🥛☕

So frustrating when you arrive at a point where the landowner has quite often, illegally blocked a right of way with fencing and barbed wire. I have a simple solution. I have started carrying mini bolt cutters which are quite small. Only about 8 inches long and very cheap on eBay. You can get a pair for about seven quid. I have no hesitation in cutting the barbed wire so I can can cock my leg over or climb over without ripping open my skin or clothing. Barbed wire is horrible stuff which injures livestock and people and its use is totally unnecessary. Fencing can be topped with plain wire. Every wild camper or walker should carry a pair.
