In 1988 I was hospitalized with viral pneumonia and jaundice. While there I also contracted staph infection in my lungs. Ended up in ICU on a ventilator for 9 days. I neither saw, heard nor experienced anything special. It was as if I didn't exist. I didn't see blackness or any beings. I remember my breaths becoming shorter and shorter as my lungs filled with fluid and my next memory was saying hello to a hispanic woman cleaning my room which was 9 days later. I have often wondered why in the world did that happen to me if there is some cosmic force running this show we call life and they didn't have any messages for me. I feel cheated but don't want to do it again. BTW, I was in the hospital for a total of 18 days during which I lost 45 pounds just laying in bed. Not a diet plan I would recommend. Edit to add: I absolutely believe these NDEs are real. I guess I was just very sick but did not die.
Not an NDE but I'll tell you my story anyways. 1996 very early thanksgiving morning 5:12am I was asleep when I dreamed my father that lived 4 hrs away was passing. In my dream he assured me he was safe and happy. The next thing that happened was I felt his soul pass through my entire body like he walked right through me. Such a odd feeling and hard to articulate. I awoke completely looked at the clock 5:12am and was pretty shaken. I went to the bathroom not being able to go back to sleep. My phone rang at 7:00am and I immediately recognized my sisters voice that said my name. Right after her saying my name I replied I just had a dream dad passed and she confirmed it. I asked when and she said a little after 5:00 is what mom claimed. A good friend of the family said she was visited by dad as well. I remember she said that she was up early making thanksgiving food and felt his presence. Soon after getting the feeling of his presence she saw a figure cross her hall from one room to another. I pass this story so others can draw their own conclusions from it. I always felt so special that he said goodbye to me and nobody else in my family...because dad and I weren't really close. God bless ya Larry and may you have many more years to celebrate life.
Time and Life had a special Collection in the early 80s that could be purchased that included. NDEs and others such as ESP etc. there have been many studies specifically about NDEs and they share too many similarities to be disregarded
My Dad was in surgery dying of a bleeding ulcer and afterwards described the surgery and the movements of those in the room, He said he felt that he was near the ceiling looking down on everything. B.L.

if you arent going to approach the subject with a sense of humility and good faith. you have no right to say he was wrong. actually LOOK into it before you draw hasty conclusions that avoid the broader context.
How many NDE stories that feature the person learning something in a location that they could have no knowledge about? It seems like all or most of these stories are just pleasant and pretty much everything most would want after death which is what makes it seem unreal. There needs to be much more connection between the experience and this physical world to confirm its legitimacy.
There have been people with really horrifying NDE's too, but most people who read about NDE's don't want to acknowledge that Hell might exist so those stories rarely get airtime. There's a good story on the show Unsolved Mysteries where a devout atheist man by the name of Howard Storm is dying of some intestinal issue in the hospital, as well as a collapsed lung and double pneumonia and he goes to hell and gets attacked and only gets saved when he begins to pray for mercy. He ended up becoming a reverend as a result of the experience.

My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us. My autobiography explaining how I, and others I've told, have used this chant to successfully change our poisons into medicine titled: 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within', is now available at Amazon Books for 99 cents (the lowest Amazon allowed me to price it) You can also read more about Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo in Tina Turner's new book: Happiness Becomes You -- or you can Google 'Let go and let God' by Olivia Newton-John.

Thank you very much for sharing the book. Feel free to share more books and authors. Thank you.
Science is not opposed to religion, that's a long perpetuated Masonic lie to get back at their main enemy, the Catholic church. Religion has been one of the greatest supporters of scientific study and scholarly learning.

I guess I was just very sick but did not die.
you didnt die lol
It probably did happen to you, but you weren't supposed to remember for whatever reason.
I mean, if you weren't clinically dead that could be why.
I'd like to know now about NDE, cuz I'm in my 80's &
know the end is near
Jesus love you
Struggle until the end man
Not an NDE but I'll tell you my story anyways.
Sounds like the Pam Reynolds case.
Thank you for sharing...Please know the continuation of life is REAL indeed...Nothing to fear and comforting to know, we will after crossing over, experience the Light and Love of Jesus....and our loved ones too.
John 3:3 "Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
Thank you for sharing this type of information, it really is very helpful for many people 💖
God please let my family and I enter heaven.
I had a, experience which stays, with me ... It's al o g story... but will tell you about it in short form.
Livinv in S, A a big county is sometimes, ot possible to drive 2 days, distance with my car. So years, ago I I took the train back to Cape rown . THE TRAIN STOPPED AT A SMK STATION and I. Those days, there were only public phones in SA. II MADE a, Quick call and begin to board the train via steps that go upward, suddenly the, train just starrted to go without warning I tried to hold onto the rail but as it was raining lightly it was, slippery and the next moment I disappeared, under the train.. I LOST all consciousness, but found myself on a feather cushion that is held on a few, peoples hands, ir felt so good and soft. Then suddenly my memory came back and I got scared realizing I went under the train.. Suddenly a man's voice calls, my name clearly and repeated LIE STILL ANNETTE ... I GOINT KNOW HIW LONG afterwards, I wS, fully conscious two black people fond me tree, quarter of a. Mile in the railway line and they thought I wS, dead. They took e back to the station and police, came and rook me to the next smaal town where the train was, stopped by police Nobody could understand why I wS, found so far from the station on the railway line and not a bone was, broken.. I had to be taken TO. A, HOSPITAL by Railway Management Even.my blood pressure was irmal.. For more than a, week I wS in such a high. I CA not explain.. Like I was, drugged and very happy.. I still have found no ezplannation that I'didnt fie.
UT must tell you this. I was, dwadi g my Bible Psalm 91 when the train stopped at that station and I've written by pen Thse, wordz, For Annette exactly where it was, written. I stone will hurt you... Etc. Yes the only injury I could detect was, a small mark that was, bleeding slightly.. The mark is still o my knee agree years,, it. Ust have been from the small stones on the railway line..
I, was, defenately protected by angels hands that felt soft like a, cushion and maybe Jesus, voice who said I must lie, still...
This was a tough read but glad you survived
The more you know about NDE, the more you should come back to God because your life like a breath.
You would think mainstream would want to show this A LOT. As you said who would not be riveted by the knowledge we are gaining. The ratings would go thru the roof. But, yet they do not. What does that say about this nations controlled information systems?
Exactly
Controlled information is right..good to acknowledge someone with their eyes open 👍
They want the masses to believe they are animals with no purpose than to consume and seek pleasure. It's the same reason they won't talk about nearly every serial killer being a practicing Satanist
The biggest joke is humanity will not believe it unless they will experience it
Sheila Shaw's NDE is believable to me! She is so real and you can tell she isn't lying. Thank you Dr. Long. I too wonder how anyone cannot be interested in NDEs. It is worth exploring! It is a miracle we are living at all!
thank you! dr jeffery long.
Thanks~🌟
Wow! The best book I have come across that explains near death experiences and your soul is by author, scholar Dr. Shmuel Asher. Soul Revolution. I found it on amazon.
It's true. God exists.
I love that he said supper! 💗
Right healing energy
Why interested? Father died. Keep wondering if we were together in other lives and we will be together in others. I miss him every day.
ofc u would watch dean Brexton
No I think it's true.
i Believe it all-- some see angels -- some see Jesus== i have No Doubts
Jesus Christ and God the father please allow my whole family and anyone to enter the kingdom of heaven I pray in your holy name amen
No they are not and us good jews know this and yes brain function shutting down or not working correctly can explain it. I'm epileptic and have had this happen
if you arent going to approach the subject with a sense of humility and good faith. you have no right to say he was wrong. actually LOOK into it before you draw hasty conclusions that avoid the broader context.
I understand scientists don't get funds to study this topic because it risks suicide terror attacks
Dear , All information about NDE in Islam. All is there in Quran. Please read Quran or the biography of the Prophet Mohammed A.S. He was a messanger to Humanity. You will find also a lot of since like bing bang etc explaind 1400 years a go.
Ok it’s real but what really is going on - technology at work uploading your consciousness from a construct you were party too ? Like the metaverse 50 years from now when our technology catches up !
Leftist and atheist would hate this as after life is proven scientifically
Hey plz can u help...tell why there are no near death experiences in any muslim countries?? Why muslim countries have no reincarnation or NDE documented experience??
@@saadinfopak all non Muslims have ndes, I think the same should be for Muslims too

My autobiography explaining how I, and others I've told, have used this chant to successfully change our poisons into medicine titled: 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within', is now available at Amazon Books for 99 cents (the lowest Amazon allowed me to price it)
