I'm so glad I found your channel! Last week, I saw the MJ Aquascaping video where he gave a tour of Zoo Box in Germany. He showed a scape that was made to replicate 'Green Heaven'. I fell in love with it instantly. Then I saw the original build video from ADA. It's incredible. Then I saw the video Cory of ACO put out where he visits Zoo Box, and he showed off the replica tank. And now YT recommended your video. You did an amazing job, very impressive👏 I hope to some say take a shot at recreating this simple masterpiece.
One of my favorite tanks from ada too imo, and yours looks gorgeous as a mini version of it 👌 one day I would like to do a similar scape low tech style and will be taking notes from this lol
Glad you like it! I think it would definitely work as a low tech set up as well, might just take a bit longer to establish, especially the carpeting plants, but otherwise they are all very easy plants to care for
Luckily, I saw the actual "Green Heaven" by Mr. Inoue at the ADA exhibition in Tokyo in 2021. It was truly a breathtaking piece of art and almost surreal, as it was just like a fantasy aquascape. I still remember the bright green tones that filled the entire tank, shining in crystal clear water. Your version is incredible, too! I heard Mr. Inoue and his team had difficulty controlling hydrocotyle growth as the plant grew freely everywhere. You managed that very well here, and I see those primary plants are from your region, and that even made the tank quite special for you! And I also like that you chose the Waterbox tank (I own their saltwater tank and love it). Great job! I've subscribed to your channel. Keep up the wonderful aquascape works! Cheers from New York, US.
Thats incredible you got to see the original! I'm so jealous! And yes the hydrocotyle is a nightmare to maintain. I've been trimming it every week, but i love the process of maintenance, so its hardly a chore 😁. Im very happy with the waterbox tank, very high quality glass and silicone work. Appreciate the sub, more to come soon!
@@StowerScapes I really appreciate you. Still researching so to make sure I get everything I need before beginning. Taking my time with it...Excited! Will probably have questions, may take you up on that. Thankyou!
Cheers from my fish room channel in Chicago, where I promptly subscribed to yours! Um, holy crap this is lovely! And holy crap how am I just finding your channel now?
Thank you! It's incredible seeing where in the world people are from! And how am I just finding your channel where I also just subbed, keep up the great work 👍
how do you make your hydrocotyle triparitita japan so compact and low? im inspired to make my japan like yours but it always grow up instead of spreading down 😅
idk why but i failed couple of times with hydrocotyle, pearlweed and some others..it was thriving as hell for 6 month but they proggresively uprooted even with co2 injection and plenty of light..the root were very short when they got uprooted, however other plant is fine
Thats interesting, could be a nutrient deficiency in the substrate? Aquasoil only holds its nutrients for 6~ months so could be worth adding root tabs to boost them.
@@StowerScapes i thought of tht at first but its been a year my other stem plants are still alive and kicking...but my next setup still gonna include hydrocotyle tripartita
Я тоже очень люблю Гидрокотилу. Красивое видео, спасибо!
This layout is unbelievably beautiful and peaceful to watch. Great Job!
Thank you!
You drew inspiration from one of my favorite ADA layouts! Great job. Thank you for sharing
Outstanding work! Having seen this in real life, it is stunning!
Lovely setup! Turned out beautifully
Thank you!
I loved this video and how it was presented! No BS talking, just showing us how an aquascape was built. Props to you! Got a sub!

Beautiful tank! I also made a scape inspired by Daisuke’s Green Heaven: though i don’t think i captured the feel quite as well as you have here!
Amazing❤❤

Are they able to hold on to the wood with their roots after some time?
I've found they don't attach like an epiphyte does, but they do get all tangled up in the wood and stay in place 👍
how do you make your hydrocotyle triparitita japan so compact and low? im inspired to make my japan like yours but it always grow up instead of spreading down 😅
Regular trimming and high lighting helps with compact growth, i also replant the stray runners back into the substrate, hope this helps 👍
@@StowerScapes thanks for the tips! Will try and see the result 😁

Its such a great plant, maybe try pulling it out and replanting every few months?
Where do u buy the hydrocotyle leucocephala
I'm based in Australia, so your availability may be different, but I ordered it from a reliable high quality online aquatic plants shop.
Do you monitor dissolved ox and CO2? ....and if yes, how?
I have a pH checker that changes colour depending on the co2 levels in the aquarium so I know its always good 👍
What's the plant that was wrapped around the wood?
Its Hydrocotyle Leucocephala, aka Brazilian Pennywort 👍
👍
Que medidas tiene el acuario?
Hydrophlia has taken over my tank .i have a dirt substrste , will never use hydrophlia again
Every time I try to pull the hydrophlia I get dirt coming up . A very pretty plant . May try it in a pot . 😊
Not fair. It's with CO2.
Yes, and?
