During 80s to 2014, i drove on indian roads and highways. Full of potholes and highways were literally single lane. I call them congress highways. They never even thought that infrastructure was needed in the country.
A few days ago, Chinese news reported that a wealthy Indian man got married and spent up to 500 billion rupees! And Modi also attended the wedding! As a Chinese, I feel confused why these wealthy people don't invest this money in ordinary people in India? Or invest in education!

Cities like Gurugram see electrical/power outages,sewage systems are also another issue whereby many residents complain. I have been to India and China but with no disrespect China is way ahead and in the same way India is way ahead of Pakistan. This is not to cause hate but I find the Indian mentality very odd by where you even criticise India’s aesthetics/environment you are deemed as an anti national or hater - why are some Indians so confident in belittling Pakistan but when China is mentioned they go quiet. To grow India may want to have a look and see how the Chinese actually maintain their cities and villages not by chanting religious slogans every 10 seconds but by coming together and logically improving their standards. I found a huge issue with the education system in India. Throw rubbish and litter wherever you go pollute your rivers. Just look at the food stalls and that will tell you how civilised the standards are.
