Glad to see Brothers in Arms footage. Truly underrated game that has unmatched historical accuracy. Been uploading cinematic playthroughs of it lately, and including all the unlockable extras for clearing the game on all difficulties. They really show how much effort and research Gearbox put into the game. History Channel actually had a special that used the game footage and engine to visualize the events, "Brothers in Arms: The Untold Story of the 502"
Cool concept! My biggest gripe with Medal of Honor: Airborne's Normandy mission is that the paratroopers drop in during daylight as opposed to an hour or so after midnight like they actually did in real life.
Excellent tribute to these brave soldiers from all the Allied Countries.
I would like to point out that the Army Air Corps and the RAF flew countless missions that day as well.
My father flew two bombing missions in his B-24 that day.
Thank you for this fine tribute Taff!! 👏👏
Mate, what a superb vid. Not only did I get Goosebumps from your excellent words of respect for those involved, those who lost their lives and those lucky enough to make it back, but also from the gaming memories it bought back too. Keep up the brilliant work buddy. Ant, Staffordshire.
Much Respect to you Taff for this amazing tribute to the greatest generation this world has ever seen. Your narration in your play throughs is outstanding. Appreciate the effort and hard work you put in to keep us entertained thank you.
Great to see a d-day anniversary video. Thanks Taff. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Taffy, I'm sure if my grandfather was alive today and watched this video, he would have thanked you. Therefore, as I am here, I thank you, Sir. These soldiers stories should never die, as they were and they are all heroes of the world. Without them, it is unthinkable what our days would be like. Someone once said, "Only the dead have seen the end of war." I wish that were not true. It is a terrifying reminder, of how bad things can really get, of how precious the lives we live and life itself are truly precious. I wish everyone God's speed. Please learn your history, factual history. Because anyone who knows it, knows history repeats itself. So let's not have our children, and our grandchildren live days that we just watched being recreated in this video.
In memory of Allied soldiers during Operation Overlord known as D-Day 80 years ago today.

Only the Allied soldier? What about all the heroic Axis soldiers who protected their home and loved ones? Just because they lost doesn't mean they don't deserve the recognition.
Operation *Overlord
@@cs.marcell469you mean all the German soldiers defending their French homes and French loved ones? No sympathy for Nazi invaders, sorry.
Amazing production great telling of events👍
Brothers In Arms and the fire suppression system has always been my favorite combat game.
Growing up The man that lived next to us was one of the men who landed on Omaha beach, he passed in 2005, may he know peace.
Such a monumental event in history. Thank you for sharing this brilliant tribute. It’s a damn shame that we’re losing so many veterans that fought in WWII, let alone took part in the invasion ITSELF. I can’t imagine what it will be like on the 90th or, hell, even the 100th anniversary…there probably won’t be anyone left. Thats why we must honor and remember their sacrifices. I was overcome with complete nostalgia seeing footage of Call of Duty 2003. My absolute favorite game. I would LOVE to see you do a Let’s Play on that or any of the other games you used in the video. Thank you very much, again, for sharing!🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

Wow, what a breath taking tribute. Thank you so much Taff.
God bless to all the men who gave their lives so others could be free. God bless to all who fought along side and endured the unimaginable horrors which led to victory.
Bravo Taff. A fitting tribute to all the brave young men who laid down their lives 80 years ago. we will remember them
British and commonwealth actions severely under represented in games
Great job Taff in putting this together
Great job,Taff! Your timing is spot on! Lest we forget those gave their lives 80 years ago today. 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦🇵🇱🇲🇫🇧🇪🇨🇿
Well Done tribute to the sacrifices made by so many.
I remember playing the original version of Medal of Honor. The D-Day beach assault and subsequent inland follow-up action in the hedgerows was the most realistic for its time.
Great content here! This was very well-written, edited and recited. 👏👏👏 Let us also remember exactly full two years before D-Day these dates in the first week of June 1942 are also the anniversary of the battle of Miday Island, an extremely critical point in the war against Japan.
Nicely presented Taff. And an interesting concept...
Great idea for a video, great tribute to the men who fought.
Wonderful special episode, so very poiniant and moving.. a great tribute to all those young lads who died in the quest to free the world from evil, tyranny and oppression, and to those who came home emotionally, physically and psychologically scarred.. and those who have been strong and mighty still to share their stories when they don't have to. Bless all their souls to heaven and may we continue to honour their memories. They shall NOT grow old.. as we that are left, grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemned, and at the going down of the sun.. ..and in the morning.. ..we WILL remember them. - That's all I can say 👍👍
Well done brilliant , thank you
Brilliant video as always Taff. Eloquently and respectfully spoken on one of the most pivotal moments in history. Lest we forget.
Well done sir! Lest We Forget!
Nicely done.
Great idea for a video!
This was an amazing video. One game you should look up, though, is Easy Red 2 (and 1). The second one in particular is criminally underpriced, and still being very actively worked on my the developers. The overlord DLC (also highly recommended) is pretty spectacular to play through...
well said Taff....Lest we forget..
Very well done
Well done, Taff.
No mention to the best existing one, Hell Let Lose
shocking! a quarter of time past d-day occured i played this game
the days when games were really good and had nice long campaigns....
Call of Duty 2 the Big Red One portrays D-Day too
Watching the ceremony this morning in Normandy for the 80th Anniversary, it was very moving to see the love and respect being shown to those veterans. I find it even more poignant to realise the reality that this was more than likely to be the last time they will be physically able to return to Normandy to remember their comrades who didn't come home. I have had this beautiful song by Runrig called "The Old Boys" whirling round inside my head all day long and I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you all. We must never forget that they gave their tomorrow so that we can live in freedom today. We will remember them!

it is better to forget something that happened more than a hundred year's ago least you want to focus on the past an not look forward to the future but i guess that is why america is not a space fairing society
Lest we forget. 🇨🇦
EA likes to pretend MOH no longer exists.
I was such a normie playing these games, thinking I was fighting the good fight. When I see the world today I know I was wrong. The shame of fighting on the side of the Bolsheviks is hard to reconcile.
Played most of these games modern games nowhere near as atmospheric
Okinawa I believe was larger than Normandy.
I hope your enthusiasm is the same for Bagration's 80th.
how to kill a franchise ?
Small note; using the same song repeatedly is a bit tiring.
not for me.
man, take the COD WW2, that one is ugly one, just take the medal of honor allied assault or frontline instead, about the landing scene.
