Well done, I've never seen this technique. I have always placed a mark on the back of the fabric where the pattern has it. Then without stretching the bias tape I would pin the heck out it. Marking really is the key to success. Very easy to follow instructions. Thank you. 5*****

Hello. I notice that you did not stay stitched. Another tutorial informs that the bias needs to be placed on the stay stitch seam is that method correctly? Or is placed on the edge? Thank you.

Alice. The edge of the bias tape should be at the edge of the fabric for this method but it really depends on the seam allowance of the pattern and the seam allowance of the bias tape. If it helps you can stay stitch and make sure the fold of the bias tape where you are stitching lines up with that stay stitching to ensure your seam allowance is correct! Is that helpful?
