4:22 that's where I used to live, from when I was born till my 16 🥰 It's cool looking at your hometown through the eyes of foreign tourists, sometimes we don't even pay attention to what's around us, being so busy with our life
I spent such a wonderful week in Bologna when I visited, and always thought it would be a mist extraordinary city to study in! I’m a student of art history, and so I hope in the future I could spend some time there, working on medieval art. You are a great help telling all your experiences and knowledge of the city and University!
Thank you and enjoy your trip! I have a playlist dedicated to Bologna with lots of helpful videos, check it out: ua-cam.com/play/PL94bvUnH6iTylGV9Sti_gPgyKgnjAZGs-.html
Valeria’s recommendations from this UA-cam channel are amazing. Today I went to the Palazzo Poggi museum at the university of Bologna. Wow! What an amazing museum. Also, we went to the Caffe zanarini she recommended in a previous video… and my husband had a cannoli croissant that was incredible. I highly recommend her! Thanks so much Take Care Katie 😊❤
Hi Valeria, I wonder if you can give me some information about how to book a guided tour to the University of Bologna, specifically to the Anatomy theater and the Luigi Calori Skull Collection Museum, part of the( Institute of Human Anatomy ). I have been researching for it and I have not been able to find anything like this. I used to work in the medical field ( I'm retired now) and that would be so interesting for me.
Hi Claudia! As far as I know there are no guided tours offered by these museums, however, I found a guided tour for the Anatomy Theater here, take a look: www.getyourguide.co.uk/bologna-l1431/bologna-guided-archiginnasio-visit-with-food-tasting-t252607/?partner=true Sadly there aren't many guided tours precisely to the theater, in most cases it's included in the general itinerary of Bologna guided tours. You can visit it on your own too, the staff will provide you with some information and will give you some printed materials. As for the anatomy museum, I couldn't find any guided tours at all; however, since it's a part of the university, I think you can ask them directly if someone could walk with you and give you more info, there are usually students working in the university museums and they're there to guide you in this way! I know it's not much, but hope it helps ❤️

Thank you so much, Evy! ❤️
Also I remember a very lively and unexpensive students restaurant, la Osteria dell’Orsa.
Love how colourful the bologna is and the architecture is beautiful.

Yeah, pretty sad that many architectural beauties are actually private houses (and sometimes you can only see the beautiful hallways like those).
I'm curious, where are you from originally??
