DaVinci Resolve is a video editing software developed by Blackmagic Design. Its most recent version is DaVinci Resolve which works on personal computers with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems.
It combines professional tools to edit, color, compose visual effects, create graphic animations and mix audio in one program. Professional-quality audio editing, color grading, visual effects, and post-production.
Its modern interface is extremely easy to use, ideal for beginners, but also very complete for professionals. In addition, the program allows you to carry out faster and higher quality work dynamics, thanks to the fact that it is not necessary to learn to use multiple applications or change software.
➡Now you can add speed points using a keyboard shortcut, much easier and faster! (Starting from version 18.5)

thanks for the video! any idea how to maintain relative positioning of transform keyframes when adjusting speed points?
OUTSTANDING!! Concise and to the point without innuendo and ado! First video where I've seen this explained so well and quick. Thank you!
The best Davinci Resolve’s Tutorial I know. Short, easy, directly to the point, talk only as necessary, no blah blah… and easy to understand. Subscribed already 😅
Fantastic tutorial! Unlike most of the other channels producing Davinci Resolve tutorials, you actually mention how to make things visible in case they're not. That's where I often found other tutorials useless, because I got stuck. Thank you!
Straight to the point and extremely easy to follow. Thank you.
This is the most simple and easy way to learn about speed ramping! Thanks a lot!
Dude, you're wild! This is my favorite UA-cam channel right now. Keep them coming!
Bro deserves an award can't comprehend the skills I have gained from his tutorials 🎉
Once you start adding color correction and effects, your computer starts to smoke. Leave all the transitions, color grading, blurr, etc till the end. Otherwise everything starts to stutter become a pita.
😂😂😂😂
Tbh da vinci in my m1 ipad works better than a pc with 2060
@@QuantumCanvas07m1 chips are immense though
I can’t edit on my pc, so i switched to a Mac, much better optimisation for davinci which attains stability
No problems with davinci on my 4070 with ryzen 7 x3d cpu
This seems more intuitive that other editing programs I've used.
Thank you sir, I had been always wondering how to do the speed ramping. Such a helpful channel, keep it up man!
Oh... My... God! This program is freaking amazing. I downloaded it before I found your tutorials, and now I'm just watching the entire playlist even though it's 4:00 am. I'm just completely mind-blown! I can't wait to stop using Premiere! Thank you so much for these amazing and in-depth videos.
I normally would be complaining about how long it took, but the way you teach is amazing. Deffo got a sub and I'm definitely gonna save this and try this very soon.
but if this video is 5-6 minutes long, it's not an hour tutorial haha, you can even put the video at speed x2
I think tiktok and Instagram are doing a lot of damage, now people just want fast food.😅
Very well explained. Speed ramping is one of the things that keeps me using FCPX as the 'ramps' to make the transitions gradual are automatically applied, and the entire process can be very quickly done with a couple keyboard shortcuts. This still seems overly tedious when compared to FCPX, but I appreciate knowing that it's not as bad as I thought! Some of the UI is similar to how FCPX does it!
Hi Sky Makai! I agree, it should be possible to make the ramps faster in Davinci, without making so many clicks, hopefully they will improve them in the future.
One good thing about Blackmagic is that he listens a lot to his audience and takes their opinions into account.
Agree, FCPX was so much faster, is there a similar way to make it fast like that in da vinci?
i see you Sky hahaha, you make the switch?
No bullshitting, straight to the point and explained clearly. Thank you!
