It turns out these do have a pair of 'tweeters' above the base driver but they are calling it a treble driver and it does not reproduce enough of the full high-frequency sounds. It is behind the logos and does not sound like an actual high-frequency tweeter. Perhaps this is why they call it treble drivers. Are you sure that's the european plug? It looks a bit like the American. The European is rounded, like two cylinders where the American are more flat. Perhaps I just can't see properly, just curious.
Interesting looking speakers and in general I do prefer powered speakers (external power supply) than not.
The sound isn't bad and the convenience of BT is there if you need it. Not bad, just not sure about the asking price. Having said that, last time I bought speaker was 10 years ago so it's not like I know the prices of other speakers.
    Thanks for the video.

Hey great to see you here! You are right I was looked online. This is a a US plug :D The sound is okay just does not offer enough dynamic range to cover the highs. We have so many USB-Powered gaming speakers I wanted to check if the DC powered speakers are any better. they are louder but still lack in overall clarity and I agree these are only worth picking up on sale if you like the look of them :O

Definitely not the greatest I have a pair on canon speakers (Canon S50's that I'll be modifying soon) if you're into that
