I absolutely love the message he is trying to show in the video, the dark side of the mirror are his demons or the bad thing he wants to lock away.
When they are in sync it shows that he is able to control it, however he loses that control and becomes a puppet for the dark side. He fights the control and even once is able to control he but he loses it once again.
At the end he has had enough and jumps through the mirror. To me this symbolizes him accepting the dark side as part of him self not something that will control him.
At least that is what i thought about when watching the video.

Une voix d'or, un peu féminisée mais parfaite. Des pas de danse qui laisse sans voix pour sa maîtrise. Cet homme est parfait. Qu'il continue encore et encore il aura toujours du succès car c'est un homme à talents. Il est digne d'avoir des oscars si ne n'était pas que pour les films et acteurs (enfin je crois, je regarde jamais ce genre de truc) pour sa voix et pour sa danse, mais aussi pour son originalité car il est tout simplement sublime !! Tout est bien dans cette chanson, je le lasse pas de l'écouter encore et encore car elle est entraînante et pas lassante comme certaine, plus d'une centaine de fois que sur UA-cam je tape la même chose : Loic nottet mud blood.

He is a Belgian singer.
He was a finalist in The voice Belgium, then represented Belgium at the Eurovision and scored top 10.
He put his first album out that was hit, then won dance with the stars France.
He still lives here near Namur and is very nice and very humble.
He got 'internet' famous through an a guy from the usa, who took a video on his ex girlfriends youtube account (unfortunately without crediting her or asking) and posted it under 'boy who sings chandelier' or something like that.
He was blowing off some steam in rehearsal dance studios of dance with stars France at that time.
What's nice is that it got him extra exposure.
We got alot of good artists on Belgium that are known internationally.
Loïc Nottet but also Stromae, milk Inc and the DJ Reggie from the group, Dimitri Vegas and like Mike,
More indie music like Alice on the roof, puggy, blanche, Milo, Woodkid, many more but that's off the top my head.

Je vis depuis 7 ans en France et depuis peu, je réécoute Pure FM ou ils passent souvent "million eyes"(Mud blood est passé une fois hier!) et j'ai pu voir le nom de l'interprète...
Au départ étonné de voir un nom de mec, je pensais plutôt à une voix féminine(oups), ça arrive que le disque sorte sous le nom de l'auteur mais j'ai découvert que ce n'était pas le cas!
Piqué par la curiosité, je suis allé voir sur le net et de surprise en surprise, d'abord c'est un mec, un belge, très bon danseur(chanteur je le savais déjà) puis suis tombé sur "Mud blood" et je suis raid-dingue de cette chanson!

I really think if he did more promotion speaking English then this guy would be world famous. Sadly speaking in French limits his global appeal. Such a shame because he speaks very good English but I think his management seem to be limiting him to the French and Belgian market. I learned to speak French just so I could understand his interviews but not everyone has the time for that (it took 4 years haha).

Je me suis amusée à regarder cette vidéo sans le son et je me suis concentrée sur Loïc. La PUISSANCE de son interprétation est bluffante, impressionnante, saisissante... Bref, Loïc aura sans doute une carrière cinématographique, ce n'est pas possible autrement. Bien sûr, je n'ai pas découvert cela aujourd'hui mais la première fois que je l'ai vu, c'est-à-dire lors de sa prestation à l'Eurovision (format que je ne regarde jamais habituellement). some says that's because he isn't american but from belgium...so apparently you have to be an american to have so much success...sadly, that's seem to be somewhat true :/...but i think he just need more touring and go to other countries..anyway i wish him the best, he is by far one of the best musician (to not say the best) i've ever heard, cuz he's the full package, musician, dancer, actor and most importantly his songs have so much meaning and genuinity and sings with so much passion...

I love the artistry in this. This clip ( Just like every other one of his music videos) resemble him and nobody else. It makes sense what he's singing and at the same time you don't need the music to understand what he's expressing. I also love that he incorporated elements from his life show,it demonstrates that he's always the same person,trying to get HIS message across,no matter where it is,be it on stage or in his official videos.
