@@faizaansari16 I think they've said in the first episode that they've chose people who decided to pursue culinary career, so people who decided to return to their old jobs weren't invited. But to be honest, I'm not even disappointed in this selection. Sure, I would love to see again Sabrina, Cryssi, Josh, Michael G, Veronica and other great top contestants from previous seasons. But even those, who are not as great, are nice too imo
America is crazy....We all started watching MasterChef because of our interest in food..... back in the beginning, it opened windows to show home cooks what other people were doing with the same ingredients they had. Time and technology has marched on. We watch people from all over the world..... Hong Kong and UK for trends, Canada and India for really interesting people, Australia for all the above plus the masterclasses that were an integral part of the original show. MasterChef US isn't really about the food...... it's about the bitchfest drama in a foodie environment 😊
Im not Filiphino but im really impress with Jeremy since season 3..the only person who promote his culture to others..i wish i was one of the judge so that i can taste his food😅
The most fascinating thing about Season 7 is that these are amongst the best cooks MasterChef Canada produced in the first 6 seasons which didn’t win the title, and many of these cooks from Season 7 either finished as runner up or towards the very top of their respective seasons. This season is gonna be interesting to watch.
Then there's Dora who placed 11th in Season 1. I think Dora was the only one they could invite from that season as most of the contestants in Season 1 either lived private lives after the show or pursued another career path outside of food.
idk prolly if i was there doing pressure tests and chefs came to me and started asking me random questions, i would be like, 'I APPRECIATE THE CONVO BUT I CANT DO THIS RIGHT NOW, NO OFFENSE CHEFS'.
i think just cause Barrie done it before time the judges felt like he disrespected the time challenge rush they show in the show and that's why for the show they eliminated him.
I'm surprised they brought in another guest chef. Did they place a holy spell on it after the last guest chef, which was Jaime Oliver? Did Uncle Roger showed up from behind the scenes to remove that Jaime Oliver stink?
Australia is even more better. In Season 1 all 3 judges just literally copy and pasted the judges' attitudes in USA and they we're too harsh on some of the cooks, up until Season 2. Season 3 is where the judges mellowed down their strict attitude.
I used to love master chef (Australia mostly). This looks so weird to me. It looks like they’re all actors. I believe they’re not but the way they produce this is just ugly imo
I think it especially has to do with the fact that this is like an All-Star season, so they've already been on the show. I think they lose a bit of the authenticity because of it.
If youre talking about the talking head segments I have to believe that format was changed because of covid. Those look way too glossy compared to other years and the only explanation I can think of is they couldn't do the normal set up because it potentially violated covid rules.
I can't imagine getting eliminated twice for not following instructions.
It's just a Barrie thing.
You know, you can see just how different is the level between "high" level and "low" level cooks in this season
i think they were the only available cooks from all seasons

I think they only brought those who didn't do well after their own seasons. They gave them a second chance.
I can tell from now that andre will be the winner
@@Alex-xk9yd I'm sorry to inform you but Josh sadly passed away a couple of years ago.
Jeremy getting worried for April Lee just so cute. S3 really build a beautiful friendship between them
That "I don't like it....I love it!" line from Chef Claudio always gets me every time I re-watch Master Chef.
righttt
It is interesting to hear so many way to pronounce Okonomiyaki. 40:20 be like "Fxxk it, economy yaki"
Its nice to see that all their personalities didnt change. Unlike how some people turned into complete a holes in the american all stars seasons.
Canadians are too nice lol

@maryholden3136 that's how 90% of american tv shows work. It's never about the contestants' dreams. They just want things that look good on camera.
It's also kind of sad that we didn't saw Jeremy's or Mai's maki imo
Yeah they would've killed that challenge!
Chris and Andrew are my favs, such a wholesome duo
Great job, Chef Jeremy! 🎉
We, Filipinos, are proud of you. ❤

its masterchef canada, not vietnam or filipines haha

so nice to see my favorite season 4 chefs again 💓
I am watching this and rooting for Jeremy!
Your fellow filipino is hoping for you to win!🎉
lol plot twist
This season is insane
Economyaki was wild fr
Authentic Okonomiyaki should be a little mushy and underdone (so is takoyaki). Judges explicitly say to replicate their version though, no complaint.
O wow! Alvin Leung can't pronounce "sushi". He called it "shushi." Daym! That's hillarious.. 🤣🤣🤣
Got also goosebumps to chef Kimura's entrance. 3:31
drinking game: take a shot every time a new wrong pronunciation of okonomiyaki shows up
5:16 dirty nails? If so... oh man, this is raw food!
MasterChef Canada is the best 😊
Pino from season 1, sabrina from season 2, Terry from Season 3, season 4 frankly I’m happy, Season 5 Michael G, Season 6 Josh
Thea.. Her surgery work, didn't work.. She's really looks like my grandmother..

How can you make a sushi roll in 25 min? I dont believe that, even to cook rice that has to cool and than roll the whole thing, I dont know
Theas had so much surgery.. she doesn’t look normal anymore
Episode 3 plz😢
Wow good job Mai, wow good job Andrew
I love barrie man 🤧🤧

I've never seen April lee work like this😭
So proud of you, Barrie!! 🥺
April Lee... you're still the same .. are you actually ok though
You cant compare this to MC America or Australia😍

Barrie cooking is good, Aprile cooking sometimes is a bit off
What season is this
31:28 *okiomiyaki* 😅
I'm not even a MasterChef or judge. But all of those maki rolls looked like crap! I don't care if taste is king or not. The presentations were jokers.
@Thea is so pretty WITHOUT all that makeup. Atleast the lips arent overlined this time but seriously too much makeup. 😢
I think people these days prefer natural make up
When I think Maki or any kind of Sushi, the LAST thing I'm thinking about is deli. It's not weird April, it's disgusting.
5 minutes ago is crazy
You're not that guy pal
Here's a challenge for the producers.
Do the makizushi challenge again but with only ingredients used in Japan pre European forced contact.
Barrie, Keep Going! Bravo!
