Not my style but i can appreciate their freedom of expression. If everyone like exactly the same type of bike, the world would be a boring place. Hats off.
As much as I can appreciate the skill it takes to build and ride something like that, I just can't see having the turning radius of a school bus while looking around my gas tank 🤔
I LOVE that Metallic Lime green one toward the end. That's my favorite color for a car. "Camaro Synergy Green" is the most beautiful production car color I have ever seen!
Not my cup of tea but to each his own. Cool paint. Love the pans and shovels. They sound bad ass. Like the 70s look. Ride safe brothers. Big Mike in Tennessee, USA
Great looking scooters they have across the pond, weird how they're keeping an American tradition alive across the international date line don't you think.
In Philadelphia the chopper craze lasted about 10 years. Those 15K RevTek Harley knock off stretched forks with hard tail frames were suddenly worth less than half the cost of the build out. Nothing worse than conspicuous consumption that can potentially get you killed.
They all crashed.or riders realized they are for looks not riding shaking harley no suspension. Kid be in travtion after 1 hr ride anyone over 40 cannot last 30 minutes
I had one of the original chopper magazines back in the mid-60's. One had a cartoon of a dude sitting on a chopper with a guy standing in front of him, both looking down the road. The front wheel was beyond the picture frame, the forks ending at the frame. The caption was "Just over that next rise." Turn the page and another cartoon finished the fork with the front tire. Shows radically raked bikes go way back 50 years. Never forgot that. The main article was "Springers vs Gliders". Also, all the choppers were early vintage hand-built, the first "Rat Choppers". A few years later came East Rider (1969). Still remember that like yesterday. Nowadays I can't remember what I did yesterday. 🤔 Anyone remember that magazine "American Chopper"?
Yeah... the blue at 1:07? love the sound and especially that love tap kick over to start it! Wish my 86 shovel had kick start. Previous owner put Rivera 5speed in. Mega $$$ to change back. Love my baby anyway.
If you can control it, there is one awesome added-value. As the forks snap and dig into the pavement, you will be launched forward into the air like a football. It's an awesome ride!
@@johncarl5505 ~ Yeah, I've owned quite a number of motorcycles during my lifetime of 73 years, one of which was a Harley, and one of which was a bullet bike, plus I've had several friends who owned Harley's and I've ridden several of them, and I can honestly say that riding a Harley compared to riding a Jap bike is about like comparing riding on a bull's back to riding on a leopard's back. Or, like driving a Monster Truck compared to driving a Ferrarri. What puzzles me about Harley riders is why they don't go test ride a Jap bike. Maybe it has to do with their ego being so tied up in owning a Harley, kind of like a cult mindset in which the cult members opt to go along with the most cockamamie bullshit in order to have a position in the cult.
There's a ton of ignorant people that don't realize the Japanese take American culture and push it to uncharted extremes. Coming from car culture to motorcycle culture this is easier to understand since I absolutely love bosozoku cars. I absolutely love these bikes and how much they stand out.

You guys are keeping the tradition alive ,rock on
As much as I can appreciate the skill it takes to build and ride something like that, I just can't see having the turning radius of a school bus while looking around my gas tank 🤔
Add to that the lack of front brakes where most of your braking power would be. I wouldn't drive this even if it was given to me.
Garage queens and a handy place to hang your plants from.
I saw that thumbnail, you know what I thought? Japan. Those dudes make the most tripped out choppers on the planet. Rock on.
I thought it was fake. The rise height and stretch of it just doesn't make sense.
There is certain beauty in not conforming to norms. I respect these bikes and their builders for that.
I'm 58 .i ride every day ..dam those are sweet .brings back a few memories....thank you ⚡⚡✊

I can appreciate the work and skill set required to create these - but I simply cannot understand why someone would want one.

Hi I remember sore bum and arms that were very heavy .you get glad to stop often to fill the tiny fuel tank
Yea, you need your arms to not be higher than your heart level, otherwise they will go numb.

Ok now let's see you ride it from California to Sturgis 😅

I look at the first bike on the video and I don't have to look any further its the best of all the rest. Awesome...
Like how these bikes have the 1970's chopper looks 2 them👍

They look so comfortable.

Japan does make great motorcycles, I agree...but these ridiculous looking things? Ha! They are total bullshit.

American chopper was a great rag. There were others. When I was a kid, I had one that had nudity, parents didn't confiscate that one..😊
They need a periscope mounted to their helmets to look over the top of the front.

How do you handle an Raked Chopper at 100kms.
easy. but it does help if you can see over the tank.
In a straight line - a piece of cake, corners - all depend on ground clearance just like any bike.
Stick to the smoothest roads you can find
