I have never heard of the recipe. Our strawberries are just coming in now. I will definitely try it. I buy flavoured vinegars from our local olive Oil store and mix thorn in soda water
Thank you for sharing the Shrubs experience! We live in northern California with access to an abundance of fresh fruit that will pair well with each of these vinegar examples. I especially look forward to the rhubarb mix! My dream is to visit Norway soon to continue my ancestry heritage exploration which includes the Buskerud, Hallingdal areas dating back to the 1600's. 💗
That is a great way to make fruit vinegars ! I will definitely try your method!
Enjoy!
Before watching your video I didn't know anything about drinking vinegars. Thanks!
You are welcome, now you can make your own!
That looks so good.
It was very good!

😀
Looks delicious! Wish I could come over for a drink.
One day!
@@ARNECARLOS oh I hope so!
I like this tutorial. The drinks looks so good and tasty. Hope to see more of this kind of tutorials. 🌞🌸
Yes, we plan to do more of these in the future.
You have opened my eyes to a whole new idea. I would never have thought of drinking vinegar, though strangely, I actually have craved it. Once I tasted some strawberry balsamic vinegar and it was so good I wanted to pour some into a glass and drink it. I'm definitely going to try this. You two are full of great ideas!
Thank you for sharing Shrubs! Although the term Shrubs is new to me the flavor of amazing vinegar and fruit combinations is familiar. I look forward to making some Shrubs rather than purchasing. The rhubarb combinations sounds especially delicious. Someday I look forward to my first visit to Norway as I continue to explore my Norwegian heritage dating back to the 1600's in the areas of Buskerud Hemsedal, Hallingdal. Maybe our paths will cross someday. Skol!
👍🏻
I look forward to someday visiting your region to explore my Norwegian heritage dating back to the 1600’s❤️🇳🇴
I have never heard of drinking vinegars!!! I'm so intrigued!!
where you live is so beautiful. I wish I could live in a place as beautiful as this. I know this is video from a couple years ago but how could you guys ever leave such a beautiful place.
Great video, guys! I do this with raspberries. My grandmother's recipe is just like yours.
Yum! Thanks guys!
Fabulous ideas. I have done thyme that I have grown in my garden and basil ❤️
That must taste nice.
Interesting, thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
I've never heard of these vinegars before, I wish you would have described what the drink ended up tasting like, was it sour, or sweet, or what....also is the fruits you took out of the vinegar good for eating, or do you throw them away?
I would use those strawberries with the pepper and vinegar with a nice pork tenderloin. Let it marinate with them for a couple of hours and roast. I've had those types of vinegars before, they taste scrummy. It's like a nice base for any type of cocktail like he said or you can get creative and add some to juice. Vinegar is really good for the body and I think it was a show based on that fact and maybe some ideas on how to get some vinegar into your diet not always on a salad.
That looks soooo good. Thanks for showing us how to make it. I think I might try blending up some light tofu, and add those beautiful macerated strawberries, lemon juice, and lemon rind, to make a cream cheesy spread for bagels or sourdough toast. Might also be a good syrup for waffles.
how fun, I will make this..
Thank you Arne & Carlos. I always learn something wonderful from the two of you :) Do you think you could demonstrate how to make the vinegar with the celery and maybe some other vegetables?? I don't know what season you are in now. I am in late Autumn here in the United States.
I love you guys, you are so funny, Carlitos how long did you have
Arne wait? I love your smile Carlitos , you guys make my day😉😘 kisses and God bless you🌹🌹🌹🌹😜🌹🌹🌹😉🌹🌹🌹😁🌹🌹
Thank you!
Yum. I will be using some of my rhubarb as soon as it matures. Thank you
That will make a great vinegar!
Will need to try this.
Give it a go!
What can you do with the fruits after you drain them? Are they good to eat in adding them to salads? Or just good for compost? Mash them in a puree to put over something?
Amyah Labrèche-Docq I wish to know also. Good question.
I would like an answer too
Me too.
You can treat the leftover fruit as pickles.
Very good idea 💡
Never heard of it before
I 'd like to know the many uses of this vinegar pls
NB:what do u do with the strawberry 🍓 after the 2 weeks in vinegar?
It's breath taking beauty we're you guys live! I live in Washington state USA and it has some great views too., your knitting is lovely , but Arne your hands move so fast it's hard to keep up just watching 😄
i do the same sort of thing except with vodka.
Do you eat the strawberries as well after they have been "steeping" in the vinegar?
It's like you are pickling the strawberries
How do you stop the jar from exploding?
Make sure to use the right type of jar!
