The problem for some fans about "early stoppage" is that this nonsense reaches the media, which reproduces it and reaches the referees, who become self-conscious and make a professional like Jiri suffer unnecessary damage for fear of repercussions, even though i am Brazilian and likes Alex, I was sad with the opponent barely able to get up after the unnecessary extra punches.

The card was up and down but holy smokes. Pereira is legendary. He looked so much better than him. To be cognizant that he did more damage than he needed to and went to render aid to Jiri speaks… volumes. Herb should’ve stopped that when Jiri folded like that. It wasn’t lawn chair folding but you don’t go down like that without serious damage. Hope Jiri is ok and to see Pereira fight 60 more times
