Sounded really nice! Really liked the CLEAN on this, which you rarely get in cheap guitars. I have 10 Teles, ranging from MIA to MIM to a Hadean from Rondo to partscasters. And this was damn sweet right out of the box! Certainly doesn’t need upgraded pups.
I got the purple one coming tomorrow! Mainly because I noticed the neck in their pictures, and how they advertise it as C+U rather than just C-shape like every other cheap guitar I see. Their pic doesn't show a skunk stripe. I hope mine has that. (Wish it had the strings going through the body.)
Killer axe, Brother! I've got 3 or 4 Leo Jaymz guitars and I LOVE them. I'm like you... I can not believe what you can get from these guys, for the cash. Unbelievable what we can get today. The Golden Age of Budget Guitars. I have the Union Jack Tele. The Silver Sparkle Tele. And the Union Jack Les Paul. I actually bought a 2nd Jack Tele - to mod it with a maple neck & hotter pups. Killer guitars!
The strips on the neck are created buy wrapping tie wire around the neck, and then baking the neck, the wire gets hot enough to burn the wood, where ever the wire is sitting leaves a brown mark, giving the neck it's flamed maple look, they get away with calling it flamed, because it was in an oven,it looks great though up against the body, nice vintage tint and very attractive, this is a perfect guitar to upgrade, even the headstock shape is exceptional, seems like they used a sheet of maple for the binding, unless it's a vaneer over the top of that, about as thick as the binding, which it actually is right, cool looking guitar enjoy.
At $130, it wouldn't bother me in the least to take some 400 to 800 grit sandpaper to the back of the neck if the Lacquer thickness bothered me. I can go either way; I cut my teeth on thick Lacquer neck from my first guitar (1985) until I bought a second guitar 24 years later (2009). Now I have 18 guitars, and it's a mix. A sweet, sweet mix. Thanks for the video, and you picked the perfect color in my book---can't go wrong with Blue!
Not available at the moment on ebay and was out of stock quickly. Good price for a awesome looking guitar that needs to be molded as the electronics are cheap. Thanks for the demo!
This is not their $149. model because the truss-rod is at the base of the neck. I was going to buy one and they have 2 different series like Squier. The lower price model has truss-rod at the headstock. .
Dude, this was a good video, I HAVE this guitar, but Dude's name is NOT "Jams", but Jaymz, that's a, l o n g "a", I've met him, and that's how he pronounced it. That said, I was so impressed by this video, I clicked a like and subscribed....then I went to the channel looking for more guitar content, and all I saw was dogs, snow and pools....none of which interests me. That said, I'm now un-subscribing and wishing you the best of luck.

Please remember to balance both pickups so the output is equal at both times

Turn the delay off. Hard to hear it correctly.
Maybe Sweetwater has them? That's hilarious!
I got two and all but the weight is a pleasant surprise. For the money hard to beat. But the honey one looks the best.
Do all Tele have a baseball neck?
It’s a liiiiiiitle too muddy for a tele but it’s still really nice
it's pronounced ( James) not jams...😊
Sweet Tele
What type of Jacksons do you have?
A couple JS22,
I have big hands. Love the neck.
A Thick neck tele is like a 52 fender tele
At 3:02 you said "Bridge p/u." I think that you meant to say "Neck p/u."
Nice demo, thanks! 🙂
