I'm honestly amazed at how well this video holds up. Most pre-youtube viral videos can only be watched now with rose-tinted nostalgia glasses. But this video, the concept, the masterful singing, the FABULOUS editing, it all just holds up so well. Just appreciating a classic, great work!
I really enjoy coming back to this once in a while, it's a great piece of work. The HQ audio really lets the bass and the wonderful little flourishes, background parts, and echo effects on the vocals all breathe a lot more. As I start messing around in a DAW finally I can really appreciate how well it all fits together to make a surprisingly intricate track. Clearly a lot of passion, effort, and no small amount of talent was put into composition, recording, and mastering.
