“Sun pushing the darkness out of the sky.” Do you have any idea how riveting that is? You just made a thing into an action. A beautifully expressed action. You’re a writer. And not just a writer. But a great writer. Your narration could stand alone as written pieces. You’re a story teller.

I have avidly followed and enjoyed all of your videos. As someone who had a sailing adventure for a few years before life intervened (and who is very much hoping to get off the hard very soon!), I watch far too many sailing vlogs, and I must say that yours is one of the most informative and entertaining. The two part sailing video is far and away my favorite. Sailing, being at sea, is what I loved most about the sailing lifestyle and what I am most looking forward to experiencing again. Your "Day in the life of" perfectly captured the best part of sailing. Thank you so very much for sharing.

I'm glad you did these two videos. It really gave me an idea of life is like. I enjoyed learning about your ethic of tidying up the boat first and see you actually do it.
    Thanks!

Good morning Holly, I absolutely love your videos. I lived solo aboard my yacht for 20 years from the late 80s. no previous experience. Before you were even born I think. No internet, satnav needed 3 satellites which took several hours to get a transit. and all paper charts or memory. Only took the occasional photo.. I envy your carefree confidence . Now I'm reliving the whole adventure thru your vids. Thank you. I wish you well . Stay safe and live long.

I really enjoyed your 2 part, day in the life of Wind Hippy…but I also like all of your other videos too!
The fantasy channels with the million dollar Cats and buffed crew are fun to watch but they really are just fantasies.
Your content is so down to earth…grounded (maybe those are bad words for a sailor) but you know what I mean…authentic…real. It’s all about the sailing and the adventure and getting by with less but still having the full experience. What you offer seems attainable for the masses as far as the investment goes but I for sure realize it takes more than a little money to do what you are doing. You also worked your butt off with the renovation/refit and you already had a ton of sailing experience which gives you the confidence and ability to do what you are doing.
Your channel is unique in a very good and very rare way.

This 24 hr. idea was good. No problem being 2 part. Real good to see you put away the boat at anchor. As people are creatures of habit, it's healthy to establish routines. And, watching your routine, there's no doubting your sailing skills. You're very natural about what to do and what goes where first. Enjoy!

You are timeless in space, and a ritual is what makes us human.... instant oatmeal here.Great inside thoughts, remember "words don't mean.... people do" ... what is done by most on watch at sea. Cheers to you Holly, excellent seamanship and your navigation skills are only limited to your wind/vane size. Have a tea w/ caffeine wow living on the edge.

Hi Holly, I stumbled upon your vlog a few days ago. I am very impressed with what you are doing. It's great to see a young person following their dream. Your sailing skills are very evident. I think I heard you mention you come from a family of sailors. That's great. I have picked up a few tips from you that I can use while sailing my own boat on the coast of BC.
It's a good time to be at sea. You may have heard the world is in a major state of upheaval but we will come out of it for the better!
    Best regards,
