Page is a monster as always! 😅What an incredible band! What a fantastic sound, for a bootleg! A great LED ZEP ATTACK!😅👍A PURE AGRESSION! I like that so much! Like the Hendrix's sounds! Compared to that the heavy metal guitarists are, just, kids in a kindergarten!😅 It's, just, sad, John Paul Jones, doesn't play his fantastic church organ solo, in that version! But, it's, still, perfect! Thanks for that new material, bro👍Peace from France ✌️
@@davidgreene7676 yes, but, to me, JIMI HENDRIX, IS UNMATCHABLE! Only, Page could try to challenge him with a guitar, with the technical skills, solo, rythms, melodies, compositions, and as producers, in studio, and live.... But, Hendrix is unmatchable with the sounds! I heard that version once! Not the best version of How many more times, but, the sound is ferocious, like you said! I like that so much!✌️😅👍
People say jimmy Page is a sloppy player as though it's a bad thing. Dam right he,s sloppy it the only way to play authentic down in the piss trough blues.
I live a couple hours from here. In the 80's I worked with a guy who virtually saw every band from the late 60's play. He was at this concert. Told me in his 50 years of watching live acts Zeppelin was the best band he ever saw. And best performance was Zep at Filmore west
So lucky to have those shows from the Fillmore recorded. They played in a way they never had exactly before, or since. Its a slightly unique sound for the band.
It was a time they knew they had to sort of switch gears to keep it fresh. And to strive for something exeptional it was also lucky Jimmy could, and would work both sides of the studio as musician, and as engineer working the board and setting mics to get a different sound. Lastly with the full backing of Peter Grant? How could things not been better for this band, man.
page is a monster here, i've seen the yardbird videos and he wasn't anywhere close to this type of playing, plant, jones, and bonham really gave jimmy the freedom he needed. and robert on harmonica is as good as it gets.
you said it.. what a humongous Loss .. he should have had his Doctor get involved putting forth that Roberts Voice is Leaving .... contract agreements halted Legally
Bons tempos do Rock.
@@ZepBestBootlegs que maravilha! É incrível porque os registros oficiais do ao vivo são poucos (basicamente The Song Remains The Same 1973, Earls Court 1975 e Knewborth 1979). Obrigado de verdade por disponibilizar, já achei versões incríveis aqui.

They did well to get that recording past Peter Grant he used to patrol the area looking for folks doing that & used to throw buckets of water on there equipment apparently & thats if he didn't just beat you up he was a 300 pound ex pro wrestler lol .
…I believe Bill Graham himself was responsible for this and the 24th recordings. If ANYONE knew that this band was gonna be absolutely huge, it was him. He was no dummy.

They took a lot of risks live. They didn’t just replay the album note for note. That artistic freedom made them great and untouchable live. Bad nights not so much.

If I could time travel, the first thing I would do is film Zeppelin in 1968-1970 in 70mm and capture soundboard audio.
Spot On, those would be significant historical documents of the best band ever! 🎸
