Nope. Not true. 😅I was a Math teacher, a friend of mine was a science teacher and another was a call center agent. All of us are in Japan via Chesham-Interac. Take note of this. You must have an ENGLISH teaching experience (tutorial or classroom-based) regardless of the degree.

Tanong ko lng po ay mostly ba sa batch nyo during orientation ay tinuloy ang process ng application hanggang sa nakapunta na diyan sa Japan po? Ilan po ba sa batch nyo ang naging successful bilang ALT? Thank you.
@@spencermagsayo569 yeah un nga eh. Hopefully umayos na rin sana. May vaccination na rin din kasi. So probable na rin na maging normal na ang pagpapadala ng ALTs here.
It depends. I had it 6 months though. If you mean how long from the application day til the flight to Japan, it may vary from 4 - 12 months. The COVID situation also contributes to the slow process of visa approval this time.

It depends. That is really a waiting game. Some of us got it in 2 weeks, some got it in a month or even 3-5 months.
