Won 8 of 13 playoff series. A dynasty of a sort for sure. It was almost 2 decades of very consistent play at a high level. Baltimore finished in 2nd place 7x and 3rd place 1x, 4th place 1x and 6th place 1x.
lcrossmk8 - the St. Louis Browns won that pennant and that’s where that pennant belongs. I understand the Browns are now the Orioles, but that pennant in 1944 doesn’t belong to Baltimore. It belongs to St. Louis.
