MARMOLADA alla ricerca del ghiacciao Luglio 2021

The Marmolada glacier is the largest in the Dolomites. In 2013 it had an area of 190 hectares while in 1910 it was 450 hectares. A modern cableway system allows you to go up from Malga Ciapela (1450m) to the Punta Rocca station (3265m), passing through the intermediate stations of Coston d'Antermoy and Serrauta. In Serrauta you can visit the Great War Marmolada Museum, the highest in Europe.
