Mike Keller was in my band in the mid 90's. He was a terrific player but struggled with the concept of being a "band citizen". He didn't like practice, he soloed over vocals and let his solos wank on forever. He tried to look and sound like SRV at the time, but I'm glad to see he matured. He sounds fabulous here.
Exceptional blues tone Mike Keller has dialed in with his rig, perfect set up with the Tele.. You hear the break-up he gets with his fingers on the fretboard.. Great tone, great player.. Excellence..
@@stratluvr ,Been doing T-Birds for 35 years every gig,Wait on Time was the opening no.for Kim for 4-5 years straight.I can sing 5-6 of Kim’s tunes in the same progression.Check his solo stuff, the same.He needs some new stuff that sounds like the T-birds with Jimmy Vaughn.I asked him how many people he knew that does “I’m aGood Man every nite,he said nobody,I said I do.The old T-Birds we’re the best by far.Kim changes players every tour.
I'm afraid not. This video is a section of an one hour TV show Kosketuksessa (In touch) by the Finland's national public broadcasting company YLE recorded at Akun Tehdas here in Tampere, Finland on April 24th 2008. areena.yle.fi/1-931944
Yeah, I like the T Birds, but some of the comments are pretty crap though . Go back to school and get a music degree? I think not! Reminds me of the story of Manfred Mann ( all trained musicians) who were trying hard to play along with Sonny Boy Williamson. Paul Jones was elected to speak to Sonny Boy… “ can you tell me how many bars there are in a twelve bar blues Sonny”? He thought about the question for a second or two and replied : “as many as I f*****g want there to be”. Now that’s a real blues man’s answer!
Mike Keller an awesome guitar player, love the way he plays!,,,,

HEY KIM, WHERE IS THE HARP ????
😍😍😍😘😘😘
Great job but miss Fran Cristina on the drums
I'm in the minority but I always thought more of Jimmy's playing than Stevie's and that in no way diminishes Stevie..
Ia this a dvd?
Ya is this on DVD?
This is the same progression as Wait on Time and Tore Down among others.
Box shuffle
A lot of blues songs use similar progressions but the solos are where things can get very interesting

That explains the subdued audience. Great guitar playing and what a rhythm section!

Audience looks asleep
