good pm sir! i find your videos about the eton elite executive informative, easy to understand, follow and very helpfu indeedl, i own an eton elite executive and i can now program stations that i always listen to in am, fm and airbands, thank you very much for uploading those videos that i often watch, may God continue to bless you and your loved ones sir! kudos and mabuhay!
Nice explanation. I've owned the Elite Executive for a few months, really like it, but have never gotten around to learning how to save stations, and on a whin did a youtube search and found this. I have seen your prior posting reviewing the radio, which I found very helpful (and it factored into my decisoion to purchase the radio). I am subscribing to your channel, and will be curious to see what else you have. But again, thanks , great post, great explanation. MJT
Thanks for the “refresher” lesson on programming and labeling page memory. Also, thanks for showing how to correct key press entry errors! The owners manual leaves a lot to be desired 😅
I got my Executive Satellite in an estate sale grab box for a dollar (lucky me). The PDF manual was no way near as helpful as this video. Thank you! Now if I can just learn how to hunt my local stations in Southern Tennessee. Where is your buy me a coffee button?
Excellent explanation. Cleared up alot of confusion, and finally able to program this radio. This video also gives a good "feel" for how to use this radio. Thank you!
Your videos have been very helpful. So I’m hoping you can explain, how to set the clock on this Eton elite executive. I keep setting the time but it won’t hod, always goes wacky.
Check to see if you've set the clock mode to RDS Auto. It grabs the time from whatever RDS-equipped FM station you last selected and then the internal clock keeps time from there. As I said in the video, some radio stations neglect to properly set their clocks on RDS, so if you tune from one station to another, the time may jump after about a minute. I would recommend setting the clock to MANUAL rather than RDS AUTO using the PAGE TIME button to access it (check the manual for exact instructions). If it still drifts in MANUAL mode, then it's probably just the typical lousy clock accuracy you find in devices like this
Well good afternoon from Pennsylvania. Please know my only interest at this time is FM HD radio. I'm wondering if this radio receives FM HD signals. I'm also wondering if Eton is coming out with a new FM HD radio in the 200 dollar price range. I will appreciate any information you can provide for me. I am totally blind and radio is my medium of choice.
I think Eton would have designed it with soft tuning if they could, because they know that mute tuning is annoying. Unfortunately, the architecture of the radio probably doesn't permit it.
@@radiotopics1874 Thank you your prompt reply. I have a Radio Shack DX-390 which can be modified to disable mute tuning. Sadly, I toasted it when the 390 and my HF ham radio were tuned to the same frequency and only 40ft away from each other when I transmitted at 600 watts.
Would you please cover the topic of how to properly connect an external antenna to the Eaton Elite Executive. I don't know if its a mono or stereo jack and cover the pin outs for coax and/or 300 or 450 ohm transmission lines.
It uses a 3.5mm mono connector. You could look for an adapter online, such as 3.5mm male to RCA female, and plug a UHF female (SO239) to RCA male into that. That way you can use a coax cable with UHF connectors to attach to an outside antenna.
@@radiotopics1874 Ah, OK. Thanks. By the way, I've found it way too easy for me to unintentionally reprogram a memory preset. If I accidentally depress F1-7 for just a smidge over 1 second . . . BAM! . . . new station replaced!

Another big thank you for sharing this video. The ASMR you convey is a great bonus.
just got my radio today. it was missing the user manual so this video helped out a lot. thanks!

Thank you for one of the only videos on page time this was 👍 😃
Thank you just got mine 2 days ago and this a big help! Manuel is sometimes confusing.
Good radio, I have an Eton Satellite 750 with excellent station reception.

Great video! Can we scan a programmed set of frequencies?
Unfortunately, the only scanning it does is on the shortwave broadcast bands. As far as I know, there is no way to scan frequencies stored in pages.

I would like to know when the Eton executive radio started to sell because here in Spain never heard about it and I would like to buy one now in 2023
I bought mine a couple of years ago, so I'm guessing it has been available for at least 4-5 years.
which one is better on am band
xhdata d 808 vs eton elite executive

Many many thanks for this!!!!
O rádio é PLL ou DSP ?
I have an Eton Elite Field radio. Is there any way to disable 'mute tuning" ('soft tuning')?
I think Eton would have designed it with soft tuning if they could, because they know that mute tuning is annoying. Unfortunately, the architecture of the radio probably doesn't permit it.

you are the good for me
Do you need to put something special into Page 0?
Not at all. I've programmed my Page 00 with the AM band, but it could be anything.

Wish you would do a video on storing FM station/pages on the Sangean ATS 909X2, manual is not very user friendly! 🤬
Haven't used that radio. Sorry about that!
