2023 Chum Salmon Egg Delivery for Salmon in the Schools at Lydia Hawk Elementary

The 2022-2023 Salmon in the Schools program has begun! Chum salmon eggs from Minter Creek Hatchery (run by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife) were delivered to our Olympia and North Thurston elementary schools for the students to learn about the salmon life cycle by raising their own salmon!
