Awesome review! Thanks for taking the time to compare our products. Also note: In The Lab 3.0 is NOT 29.5 inch circumference. It is slightly smaller. All our basketballs at WAWAWEWA are full size 7 men's regulation diameter. Play Silent!
Thank you! This was a great product comparison and review! I didn’t know there were so many different type until I started really looking for a couple for my kids. Have you tried the Dribble Dream that also claims to be the original silent ball?
@courtneyhein2052 I haven't tried that one, too many brands have been popping up. And actually, many silent balls have been using that slogan. I'm no silent ball historian lol so I can't confirm or deny those claims. What I can share is that there are many silent balls with varying degrees of quality, styles, and price. The best thing is to figure out if you paid for what you were looking for, is it what you imagined? If your kiddos are happy, having fun, and enjoying the ball? If they are, then perfect. With that said, there really are a lot of good ones out there. Just have find the right one for you. Hope this helps Courtney 👍👍
@@SportyGamer-xq6by For me the weight is top priority with the silent balls. If it's too light, it will feel like an inflatable plastic ball - which are not fun to bounce. Also, I rather have weight over grooves. With that said, I love the Original Wawawewa, the bounce/weight is really good and just feels great in hand. This is my personal best choice. The runner up is the In The Lab 3.0 which has great weight too but feels more slippery because of the smoothed ball cover - less grip. Need better skill to use this one - if you're a good ball handler then it should be easy to use. Phenomenal quality but more expensive. There you go, both are similar in size and weigh almost about the same. It's really going to come down to feel, what feel would you be most happy with - personal choice. Hope this helps 👍👍
Love the tutorial but i have a quick question. I recently purchased a silent basketball off amazon and it came in an air sealed bag been bouncing it and hasn’t changed its shape any tips on how to get it into a basketball shape?
It can take a few weeks or even a bit over a month. It's not going to be the best at first. The more you try to shape it or play with it, the faster it will morth into a ball and bounce better. It can get there, just keep forming the foam into a ball. Once it bounces regular it's more fun, just kinda annoying at first. Best wishes Devin🙏🙏🏀
@taehokoo82 The Pro ball and Lab 3.0 will be much better to withstand leaving foam residue behind since the ball is going to be wrapped with a bag over it. If any foam breaks off, it's going to stay inside the bag. All other foam balls over time can start to lose some of their foam, and little pieces can break off. Plus, depending on the wear and tear: abuse, finger nails, ball hitting sharper corners or objects, or even the type of carpet can affect the foam's condition. The only exception, like I mentioned, is the balls with the bag over them, those will last longer. Hope this helps 👍👍
Hey man, Love the review! But a question I have is that do these balls hold up ? many reviews on amazon say that they start to leave foam residues all over the place and that the ball starts tearing up. Also, many stated that the pro is just a refurbished ball that just covers up a manufacturing defect in a flimsy cover that breaks apart in a few weeks ? could you please tell me if these balls can handle regular practices?
Depends how you use them, if the ball is constantly hitting sharp corners or objects then it will start to fall apart faster. Or if the person has nails it can affect the life of the ball. Also the type of carpet, more flat carpet will have the ball bounce better, and really soft and fluffy carpet the wear can be rougher. I love the original Wawawewa that one has been very good to me and I use it maybe once a week and I've had it for a long time now. My carpet is thin so it does help out. Other variables are kids like to pinch, pull, or constantly squeeze the ball, that can affect it too. Overall, it's just how you take care of it and where you use it. I think it's a great tool to have and if it wears down in 8 months, that's like 5 dollars a month and great practice. Hope this helps 👍

What ball is the closest weight and bounce to a real basketball size7

Does WAWAWEWA silent basketball PRO also produce foam dust or fractions over time? I'm worried it might make the floor dirty.
