Their musicianship is at such a high level across the board. They're doing shit that no other bands in the genre are doing. This band is on a crazy trajectory right now.
This is truly an Amazing piece of work. I like many others needed a dozen times to listen and fully grasp all that's going on. It just gets better the more you injest it. You were asking what they opened with on the USA 2021 tour, "Call me a symbol" and Vortex was the encore. I saw them here in Florida last month they Crushed.. And FYI the Idiot pea brain that left the first comment is a Jinjer troll from Russia that's jealous they made it against all odds, he leaves lame comments on EVERY reaction.
This album is head & shoulders, like a fine wine - complex notes, full bodied & gets better with age (seriously, you pick up on so much more with each repeat listen). Jinjer could have just churned out more of the same of a winning formula but decided to push the boundaries once again, masterful. Definitely listen to it start to end a few times. Another album to consider is Fortitude by Gojira - another band demonstrating evolution of their sound to provide a well rounded, diverse album.
@@stangcobra592 it certainly does, just too intricate to catch it all in a first listen. And the endorphins starting running when you can predict all the notes coming together. Whats your fav off the album? Mine changes over time - I think Vortex is possibly an all time great for the genre, but I love grooving to Pearls & Swine and Dead Hands...
@@scottmorey6212 I knew the set list before I saw them last month but was blown away by Sleep of the Righteous, I just stood and stared in amazement. Love the riffing in Dead Hands, Copycat, it's all Good..
As a non-musician this feels like their most fun album. I hear the surface level fun first and then slowly become aware of the deeper complexity. It seems like musicians get it in the opposite order maybe. Regarding contrast, Vortex and Wallflower have a slow burn that helps with that. Mediator to some extent too.
Thanks for this! New jinjer fan this summer, and metal newbie. Saw them in November, most blown away of any concert I've been to (and I'm old), And literally perfect vocals and instrumentals live.
I'd love to see you do this for Jinjer's older albums. I'm not sure how many of them you have listened to outside of your reactions to the singles from these albums.
I’m nine days late to the party but here I am! 😅 For me this is easily one of the best album of last year. Their song writing is just god tier. 🤘🏻🔥 Now I’m just eagerly waiting for the new Meshuggah album, new song drops tomorrow. Beyond excited for that. Friendly reminder, Orbit Culture. 😉
Love these full album reactions. What a year for heavy music! Thanks for putting the links in so we can listen to the songs in order, saves having to search them up :P
WoW Thanks for all the Jinjer! Looks like you're missing one, "Sit Stay Roll Over". There's an Official Music Video for it. Also, there is another official video for "Judgement and Punishment" besides the live one-take and it's really a lot of FUN. Be sure to see it!

you pretty much never get 4 geniuses in one band... we got lucky here
Best metal album of 2021. And the most underrated.
only those of us who are musicians appreciate this work of art

I liked few songs on this album because of how complex, but over time I love all of them because you find more and more details

I agree It Needs 10+ listens to fully appreciate! Roman's guitar work is So stellar.

This last tour they started their set with "Call Me A Symbol". They did not play Pisces, it has been dropped from their set list.
They don't NEED to play Pisces when you have their catalog.
I don't know how they only played half of this album in concert. They have so much great stuff though.
oh man!! this is what i needed for today's early evening, whole album reaction from You! It's like hang out with a friend who likes my best band too!
Thanks for this!

I absolutely love their album 🖤🤘

I've been holding off on the album because I like to be surprised when the videos drop. They recently shared that more videos are to come.
They NEED to do one for Copycat!
IMO every song could have a video. Which isn't something I usually feel about Jinjer albums. There's usually one or a few that don't land for me.
They just posted to their channel that they will be traveling with Slipknot in North America this March and April
Fuck yeah Dead Hands 🤘

16:40 - Wallflower credits music.
Check out Underoath - Voyeurist Full Album, bro. Absolute Beast!
Eugene has said he has an easier time playing this material than he does their older stuff.
