It is just easy for me to remember Betty White because I am a huge fan of Betty White (the hooman) RIP and to say she was an animal lover would be the understatement of the century. She passed last year and so many folks named their cats Betty White to honor her. My husband and I adopted a cat this January and were planning to name the cat Betty, but we adopted a boy. We called him Peanut. He was very crazy and fun, but he got out and a car hit him. Only 2 months with him and we still cry...

It is Phoenix, which seems really special and perfect considering the circumstances. He is marmalade. Maybe that's why he is named Phoenix. He is funny and silly in a different way. He isn't allowed outside. It is unfortunate. He brings us all so much joy! He's kinda shy, but really sweet! I do love the names you suggested!! I like White Betty. (You said White Peanut, I forgot.) Either would be a good name for a white cat. We had one in the 80s or 90s. We called him Wonderbread! He was deaf and a stray. Thanks again for the sweet reply.
