Had to watch it twice, but this is incredible gut to give it a try, although I’ll try something more simple, until It seeps slowly into my brain cell.
Fantastic post, this really will get me out of the rut I’ve been in for a while now.
Hyper relevant, excellent ideas. Seems to me people need more of this kind of teaching, not prevalent enough. It's funny this mirrors almost exactly what I've been telling my younger beginner students recently, almost down to the same words. I wish I'd seen this earlier ! 👍👍
Great video sir. This is extremely handy. Just subscribed
Thanks for making this Jacob, been on a quest to better my flow and this helped 🥁🍻🙌🏼😎
Excellent
Thank u sir for your videos
Your awsome...thx
I love the analogy of using words and sentences to form drum patterns. I'm looking for to implementing this exercise to my daily practice. However, can you please write out the 3rd word for me. I think i am hearing it to be: RLR RLL RRL LRR L. Is that correct?
Fantastic Advice
Thanks dude!
Thanks for the explanation
Thanks for watching
Hey, Thx for the vid. Isn't 3:36 a paradiddlediddle?
Yep, you’re right. Never been much for names
@@JacobEvansDrums Hey, may I take this opportunity to ask you which city you are from in the UK?
You need to put right left right right on the screen
your definitely a good drummer I appreciate your drumming talent, that snare sounds fat along with the rest of your drums.
Thanks man, thanks for watching!
Helpful video BUT if you aren't going to write the sticking on screen, then please speak slower and repeat often. I still don't know what the third word is - so it's just been a waste of time for me.
Valid criticism. However I used video speed control in youtube and context of the video to "deduce" that it is as following: 16 Triplets, 3 8th note counts(beats) Rlr rll rrl
