could you change the colour of your background, it's a little difficult to define the tool.
Hi! I have only experienced my thread zapper getting a little gooked up, and when this happens, I let the zapper completely cool down and VERY gently wipe it with a dry paper towel.
I found one of these in my garage and had no idea what it do. Thanks🌸
Now you know, glad we could help!
If u don't know what to do with that, u can change ur vibrator with that
Simply you can use solder iron...it's so cheap and more durable
A soldering iron would work well, especially if you already have one set up in your work space. They're slower to heat up though, and the cheap models are usually wall powered instead of battery powered, so thread zaps have advantages in smaller spaces and in portable crafting kits.
I wish you would’ve gone into more detail about pushing the button. My button doesn’t push in at all it kind of toggles in the front a little bit. Nothing is happening and my battery is good. I got this to come on vacation and now it isn’t working. Is this button actually supposed to push in?
I’m having the same problem with mine.
If I use these tool with white thread will the thread be black on the end?
How do you clean the tip of the burner once it getts all gooked up? Thanks.
I have fiddle around with the battery to get it to work. Its hit or miss. I barely use it now because it is so unreliable.
Can you use these pens to melt the ends of ribbons

My tip falls out constantly. What can I do to fix this? Or would I just have to buy a new one?
Without having it at hand it's hard to say if the problem you're having is with the tip or the tool itself. I'd suggest inspecting the tip and seeing if you can spot any damage or deformation that's causing it to come loose. If that looks like the problem we do have replacement tips for the model shown in the video: beadaholique.com/products/beadsmith-thread-zap-ii-replacement-tips-2-pack
Can it be used to burn two pieces of thread together just in case you need extra to finish a necklace or bracelet?
Unfortunately, it is not recommended to fuse two pieces of thread together. Depending on the project, it may be better to tie on new thread to extend the project.
@@beadaholique how exactly do you tie two pieces of string together because I'm having difficulty doing that too? By the way, I'm using 7 strand wire.
@@arnettamathis4914 i usually do this using a weaver‘s knot
@@StrawberryGirl3333 Would you happen to know of a video showing how to make a weaver's knot?
Does this work with elastic cord too or will it mess up the tip?
We've used it for the 0.7mm elastic cord we work with most often and it seems to work well without leaving too much gunk
Beadaholique Thank you so much!!! 💕💕💕💕
Can I order the zapper tool2 ( and maybe some extra tips) from Russia? How long might it take and how much might it cost? Approximately, of course)))) Love your channel, by the way
+Eva-Charlotta Lisander Hi Eva, sorry we didn't see your question earlier! Yes you can order the Thread Zap 2 from us, we do ship to Russia. You can find it here: www.beadaholique.com/p-31627-beadsmith-cordless-thread-zap-ii-thread-burner-tool.aspx
Shipping time would be 3 to 16 business days depending on which option you choose. Our shipping prices will vary depending on where you are in Russia, but right now it looks like they start under $10.

Damn!!! I bought this tool thinking that I could use it for light soldering 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Sorry, these thread zaps aren't a good fit for that. The tips aren't durable enough to use with solder.
