@@FulcrumAirsoft I have no doubt it will be awesome, my friend already tried your meteorite grenade (the micro one that fits into 40mm pouches). I have yet to try them in game. I tried two type of caps, the chinese one where too loud and broke the caps holder 😅. Anyway, I’ll give you my feedback as soon as I played 😁
@33r0yuy I'm yet to bust a carriage (lost a few though) even after dozens of firings. I will say I don't recommend PETG as for some reason my designs don't like it. I use Sohni Wicke caps and they make a very good bang and seem to be remarkably reliable, even firing after 2 weeks out in the rain. I've finally managed to lose my personal Meteorite which was the prototype, but it was still going strong and was insanely sensitive even in woodland.
@@FulcrumAirsoft it was printed in basic PLA. I don’t know, maybe the caps where a bit heavy in explosives. I got some sohni wicke and they’re WAY better, easier fitting on the carriage, the bang is enough (the chinese ones made my ears ring for a few seconds) and the packaging is actually better should you want to reload the grenade on the field (I’m considering printing more carriage to have some ready ones on me to reload more easily)
A whole 8 shot cap ring firing is nearly comparable to a .209. Decent caps are easily loud enough even outdoors. In fact my most recent short has several firings at varying ranges.
Will definitely be trying this out at some point. Just got to okay it with my local field since they don't like tripwire mines. The breakaway system could persuade them?
I've always incorporated breakaway tripwires for this reason, aside from stopping damage to the mine from someone running at it. As an ex marshal I also know what sort of people you have to convince. So a design that is safe by nature makes it easier to clear.
There are pepper balls for self defence(similar to paintballs), i wonder: if someone wants to deter trespassers, could you build a bouncing betty that shoots pepper balls?
The tether can be shortened or lengthened to change the height, probably don't want it too tall or it may run out of momentum and not pull the fuze hard enough.
As usual thank you all for the support. Got some reviews, guides and other bits and bobs on the way. Next up is something I've wanted for ages.
Looks like I found my next 3D print project.
Thanks mate. It's one of my favourite projects and I am kicking myself for not taking it to the game last Sunday.
Keep up the good work Jet.
Watch europa the last battle brothers.
bro trapper class dropped
The player in the beginning needed a second to process what just happened 😂
@keelanbrown7747 He was a good sport. Fortunately I seem to encounter them often.
Oh this is so dang cool
Thanks mate. Wanted to make a more reproducible one for ages.
super badass!!!! great work
Thanks mate!
I found this on cults and I love it, I’ll soon be printing it 😁
Thanks mate. Let me know how you get on!

I'd suggest having these fire the .209 primers just because these caps aren't the loudest thing in the world can could easily be missed.

nice work!
Blank fire one would be cool

@@FulcrumAirsoft awesome!

Would you perhaps be interested in an Airsoft Geneva convention?
That's fine, I already play pretty "clean". What you're probably after is an airsoft Ottawa treaty.
Make it neon Pink. Everyone will see it.
That's so awesome dude!
Thanks mate
Welcome to the nam', kid
Maybe waist height is the farthest up it should go

@@FulcrumAirsoft pretty sure that wasn’t the possible issue I was talking about…
as a South African, you pronounce boom slang like b(the oo sound from saying ooo when you see something cool)m and slang like slung.
It's not a war crime the first time. Expect Airsoft will be developing a Geneva Convention. Arms race against Karens & Snowflake.
I'm already Geneva compliant. The Ottawa treaty is what you're after.
What stops this from working with a real grenade? Poss legal issues for file host
As if he would be r aponsible for what people do with it?
NOT THE HECKING ILLEGAL DRAWINGS
Afrikaans name, hell yeah
It's a great name, funny thing is I first heard it on the Top Gear Botswana Special.
Sounds bout right, the Boomslang (directly translates to tree snake) is also found in Botswana iirc
👍
Thanks Terminator, keep up the good work yourself.
@@FulcrumAirsoft Thanks! 🤜🤛
