This sermon was right on time. I had an encounter with someone who hurt me and betrayed me and as soon as I had decided to really get pure and focus on my relationships with God, my family and kids, this person just randomly texted me yesterday. And although I kept hearing sermons, and scriptures in my head and remembering Gods promises, I still allowed myself to go over to his house and sleep with him. And the thing I realized was that I really didn’t care for him anymore, my heart was no longer in it, I forgave him, but I let the enemy trick me to believe I had to make him “regret” what he did or see how good I was doing without him. But all it did was cause a setback in my life. But I thank God for grace, and repentance and my community because I am not carrying around shame or worrying if he’s gonna call me anymore or if it’s gonna work out, I was more happy to just get back in right standings with God and myself and keep pursuing my promises and purity 💜
Thank God for His Grace and Mercy 🙌🏿🙌🏿 I almost fell into a similar situation with someone I knew from my old job who I almost got entangled with because of my fleshly lusts. But I had to internalize the fact that My body “is the Temple of The Holy Spirit” and that I was “Bought with a price” (1 Cor. 6:18-20) That’s Why He tells Us To FLEE 🏃🏿 . Purity is a Journey but thank God we are forgiven and covered in Jesus Name. Be Blessed Sister!!

I am that Christian woman who has been broken up with yet again-5 days ago b/c I moved 4000 miles away and I was about to give up and let Satan win my thoughts of it’s me and my fault and here we go again..NOT TODAY SATAN! I had to rewind what you said about me not falling for him (any others as well) but that my insecurity tripped me! PROFOUND! Never forgetting that. I am shifting my mind now. I just got out of a very bad relationship and decided to do it God’s way. “Insecurities tripped me into the relationship” but my strength from God helped me get out of the relationship. It was literally killing me. I had to get my family of prayer warriors to stand with me. It was hard but I know that it will be worth it. I trust God with my life. 🙌🏽
Love the analogies and the part about the mental detox. That’s just facts 💯💯 But I will say, don’t get it twisted lol the devil does know who you are, and your purpose. And will attack that and tempt you with distraction. And he knows who you belong to. And his hate definitely rooted in that. But yea we can be our own worse enemies. Fa fa fa facts.
