This mechanic of smoking off the sonic sensor does not disable it is a cool detail since it implies chambers trip / killjoys alarmbot /turret relies on sight and cannot detect anyone if smoked off, whilst deadlocks trip relies on sound and doesnt need line of sight to go off. It would be cool if deafen abilities disable the trip, like fades ultimate ( which deafens you ) could disable the trips hearing.
I feel like they should have audible abilities trigger the audio sensor, like TPs and such. Plus the ults should defo trigger them cause the agents literally shout at the top of their lungs to project them lol.
I think the reason most abilities don't trigger the sensor is so that you can't just send in a dog or throw a piece of util past the sensor and make it go off while you are away from it

To guess which abilities gets affected by what interaction you just need to know which abilities are treated like the player entity or not. A simple one that's clearly like a player entity is the Yoru clone. It will be affected by pretty much everything that can affect a player as well, unless they code for it specifically. Anything that are also clearly seperate entities instead of just some kind of a throwable object are likely to also be treated like a player entity which means that anything that can affect a player will likely also affect these abilities. - Sova Drone, Skye Dog, Gekko Wingman and Thrash, Cypher Cam, Yoru Clone and TP, etc.
I’m still skeptical on whether the tp can go through or not since this guy sent it directly in the middle of the wall, which Yoru can’t pass through in his ult but can still go through the extensions

So, in conclusion, any projectile can pass through the wall and won't be slowed by the net however, any entity can be blocked by the wall like Skye's seekers and Sova's drone however none of them can be slowed by the net because they are not touching the ground and her sensor can only be triggered by players or shooting sounds that include Sova's ult and Chamber's headhunter Also her ultimate won't work on Yoru while in the ult or Reyna dismissed because they both become intangible or invincible in that state the only thing I wanted to know is can Omen's paranoia silence her sensor so players can pass through it without detection?
if you are able to test it again, could you test whether omen/yoru tp saves you from the ult AFTER you get caught (to be clear: you tp and get caught during the tp). I guess the agent comes out in 2 days so i could test it then if you’re unable to or if it’s not worth a video.

So far the only agents that can survive deadlocks ult solo is phoenix, reyna, and yoru. Even then some of them needed to use their own ults to survive.. this may as well be the strongest ult in a 1 v 1 (if you didn’t miss that is)
unless you bounce it off a surface it's really easy to dodge it seems like. when it bounces it create a big spherical zone but before it bounces it's just a beam
So what im gathering from this is it all depends on if the ability is viewed as a projectile or a normal object. normal objects get effected like skye's dog, sova's drone or gekko's wingman but if its a projectile like sova's dart viper or omen's smoke then it won't be effected. same can be said for any thing that lets you teleport, buffs, or effects the player. Any interaction that applies to players should apply to all of them as well unless they specifically get excluded in the code. I wager that the Cypher cam, at least the old one where he can give it a gun to shoot, was also the same type of entity. They probably forgot to turn off the gun pickup for the pistol as well as the shooting controls for that entity which lead to a camera that can shoot.
what about: does fade prowler go through her barrier? Can breach's aftershock trigger the sound sensor (i am sure it destroy the sensor i am asking if it can trigger)? what about raze's bomb bot interactions with barrier and sound sensor?
Great video but you missed the Cypher's kits interaction w/ Deadlock, especially the camera 1. Does sonic sensor can detect if cypher put the cam near it? Also when he checks the cam too, does it trigger? 2. Does cypher cage when throws out trigger sonic sensor? (cause it makes a little sound when throw onto the ground)
In summary, - any ability that is an NPC (Sova drone, Yoru clone) is affected by the grav net and barrier - projectiles will not be affected by the barrier (Skye flash, Gekko’s Dizzy, and apparently Omen’s TP) - any ability that counts as a “gunshot” including Ults will trigger the alarmbot - the alarmbot has health and can be destroyed by anything that deals damage - being intangible will seemingly prevent you from being affected by the barrier or Ult - you can brute force your way out of the grav net - some NPCs don’t trigger the alarmbot, apparently
The astra suck and barrier mesh interaction is cool because if you place the barrier mesh just right it can stop you from being pulled off the spike :D
A cool detail is sova's drone not being detected by the sonic sensor. Why? Because owls do fly very quietly. You could search the video of an owl flying through, i think its smoke or feathers, and it barely disturbs the air around it produces minimum sounds
Most of this is common sense, some of them are helpful confirmation like Updraft & KayO knife, but I'm surprised you didn't test the fun stuff the Deadlock devs talked about in their official interviews and Tarik's stream.
Imo since omen is allowed to tp out of the barrier mesh, yoru tp should also go through. Drone and skye dog getting blovked are good anti initiator tech which if you can do it well , you can deny info for exec.
one question, can you sage wall above the sonic sensor? (will it trigger it? although i’m guessing you’ll be out of the stun range if you wall above it)
Makes sense that Yoru can go through the wall and not be affected by Deadlock's ult. He's in another dimension, so it makes sense he wouldn't be affected. Same shit applies to the likes of KJ and Cypher's ults
some of those were kinda obvious like jumping over a wall or not being able to blind a SONIC sensor. but others are very unintuotive. if i know skyes wolf cant go though it its weird to think the bird can, especially since it could just fly over it too.
additional thing: yoru clone can get caught by deadlocked ult i think a sage wall can stop someone who is ulted from reaching the end of the deadlocked ult

The e ability will come in clutch when facing an astra with a suck on spike! Just place it on spike and defuse and the suck will not take you off!

a yoru clone can be captured by her ult so if you hear her ult you can just spawn a yoru clone and you'll be fine, idk if it flashes at the end tho.
