Art in Action | Julian Charrière

Drawing inspiration from environmental science, cultural history, and post-romantic constructions of nature, artist Julian Charrière creates highly unconventional artworks. His films, sculptures, and photographs depict the tensions between geological and human timescales in a digital era. Charrière's work is informed by expeditions to some of the world's most remote landscapes, including volcanoes, icebergs, and seabeds.
