    All of your JM's looks amazing. Unfortunetly i have lost two of mine established Pixie & Orangeola. Start of spring the buds start to leaf out then all of sudden the dried up if there's no life left in them!!

      Thank you for watching my video. That’s happened to my Japanese acres before when I’m starting my collections a decade ago. What happened to my acers I used an over sized pots, come on spring they develop buds midway leafing out they die. Lesson learnt I now just use a small pot and top up with eracacious compost , not much every spring. Try to put them under the big tree.

      It usually happens for one of those 3 reasons that has happened to me with some maples when I started: some cut in winter where it has lost a certain amount of sap; night frosts; aphids.

      I bought it 10 years ago says orngeola, but apparently it’s not Orangeola from one of my subscribers.
